I want to thank you sincerely for this video. This singlehandedly cleared up what I was doing wrong (and as such was a roadblock) in my analysis for my thesis.

while writing the statistics section of my paper, i was confused on how to apply this type of anova. watching this video, it provided much clarity on how to structure the statistics section of my paper

Hello, thank you for the video! I'm confused as to why you had to run a paired samples t-test. Can't you look at your marginal means after running an ANOVA and that will give you the same info?

Dear Dr. Todd, thank you so much for your videos. I have learned a lot from them.
I would need to run a Two-Way Repeated Measures ANOVA on my data. However, the data residuals are not normally distributed. What are the alternatives in this case?

super Todd - you make this so clear and the point in the beginning about retaining Between data and explaining the difference when visibly in front of us was an excellent learning point. One qu why did you do a double T test rather than normal Post Hoc test? thank you

Hi, Thanks, for this great example. Is it possible to name the levels of the variables in the profile plot instead of using 1, 2 ?

But the main effects of light and sound are there right ....as confirmed by ANOVA?

How would this information be transferred into a table (APA style)?

A very helpful video, however, my only question is when would the treatment condition come into it? Surely an effect of treatment is something to be investigated as well as light and sound?

Dr. Grande, thanks for the video! Should we not be adjusting alpha-values for multiple testing when performing the paired t-tests?

Yes, I agree. To correct for family-wise error..

For the interaction, in pos hoc tests can SPSS calculate the difference in CHANGES between groups (as an ANOVA of deltas)? (Instead of multiple comparsions isolated across different groups and/or time points)?

Great video, however you used 2 within subject factors (sound: lound and quiet) where as my data has 4 within subject factors. when conducting the second paired samples t-test to test for the second within subject factors (sound in your case) how would i go about this issue

Hello, thank you, in the comparison of 3 times; What should be done if the number of people at the 3rd time is less than the first 2 times? Pretest and posttest were taken from the control (n=17) and experimental (n=17) groups, but the follow-up measurement was taken only from the experimental group and could only be taken from 13 people. Which tests do you recommend?

Thanks for this. However i have a problem. The issue is, how can I join all the questions that form the dependent variable for me to compare with the independent especially when there ate so many questions under each variable

Why did you exclude the possibility that sound could be statistically significant when the light condition is dark for example? the same applies to the light comparison.
