Wait John is this retro video games and toys in Levitown on long Island I was just there on Fri I knew I recognized that store just from the cases u were looking in i live in Huntington my wife works right down road from the flea market or mini mall u could say that store is upstairs with other shops eith collectible figures and stuff they open usually at 4pm on Thurs, Fri its cool that u came out this way what state are u from I've seem many of your videos but never heard where ur from.

Wow, even though the entire building looks like an old outdated warehouse, the stores all look awesome especially the game store.
Never underestimate the quality of the dirt mall. You might have to sort through the dirt sometimes but mostly good people with good stuff. My experience anyway.

I’ve been there before John. I think it’s an old Woolworths store if I remember right. They had an amazing selection but prices where kind of high. I think there was some arcade games in the basement.
The Earth Dies screaming is a really good game. Great graphics and the sound effects are pretty elaborate for a 2600 title. Probably a top 10 2600 game for me.

That video game store was definitely cool, but over-priced. Wonder where they got their prices from?
These stores nowadays look off Ebay then mark their stuff higher because they think they're entitled to more, for something that they've had sitting there for $5 not that long ago, it was only after 2020 where the prices got jacked up.
Some of the best stuff I've ever found has been in backwater flea markets.

In the display case around 645 there is the tribal king from Ace Vetura 2 I think
Started out with pong, and then went to the Italian 1500. I mastered Space Invaders and a couple others I can't remember. And then later on I got the Nintendo. PlayStation 1, Playstation 2 for a while, and now I have a PlayStation 3. Need for Speed is the game I like most. Racing games. Cool video bro catch you on the next one thanks.

Sucks that everything in those retro places is already "discovered", and priced according to eBay, price charting or whatever, but so cool to see some of this stuff. I didn't expect to see any PC Engine or Megadrive. Neat!
Shops that do that are the ones driving up prices. If all the shops just sold like they used to, these games wouldn't be making it past the $50 mark. In the video they're literally just discounting by a few dollars than if you were to just buy it off Ebay. Like if something there doesn't work you probably can't return it, but on Ebay you're covered and Ebay will pay you back. So these stuck up stores should be catering towards the customer, not chasing them away with their BS price charting (which jacks up the price anyways)
It’s worse when retro game stores ask more then eBay and price chart.
You can blame resellers for that

WOW, the prices at this store are *very* reasonable! Some of that stuff I've seen for double the price
Not that there is really any reason to come here but if you're ever in tidewater area in Virginia like Norfolk, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach you should check out video game heaven and cool stuff. They are the best big local game stores here and have a location in each of those cities. But the cities are basically right on top of each other so not a long drive to get to each location.
There got a shop like this down in Brighton
MJR should check that store out for PSP games to help try and acquire a complete PSP library 🤘🏼

I wish we had a good retro video game store. Mine never has deals and for a comparison, they're trying to sell Toy Story 2 on the N64 for $120 because "nostalgia dictates prices".
