    I disagree with some of the mental health advice given: you should NOT limit your emotions with your kids but rather, you should express it to them in an age appropriate way. You CAN and should tell your 5 year old that you are sad that this happened and that the kids are ‘gone forever’, you can and should cry in front of your older kids and allow them to see that healthy expression of your grief.

      Please don't turn your boys emotional. Boys and men should be stoic an emotional boy or emotional man is dangerous. The problem with this is that most of these boys come up in fatherless homes meaning that they get treated worse by teachers in school probably told that they have some learning disability then they get put on some sort of Meth and then they get socially isolated. The fact that we think boys and girls of the same age or the same is psychotic, little girls mature way faster than boys, why would a little boy do any good somewhere where he has to sit down for over six of the eight hours he's there. Then again I only done a fuckton a research on how we destroy little boys and men so I will probably be told I am wrong.

    As a parent myself, I understand what these parents are going through. But, if you want to end these massacres, you must first realize where the problem is actually coming from. So far, I have noticed one common denominator: teenagers are usually the cause of these catastrophes. Meaning, teenagers need to be in a bubby system while being evaluated in schools by physicalists. Teenagers are the real danger, not the guns. They will find other ways to do damage.

How absolutely dense are you, we need to focus how accessible these guns are to the general public without mental health checks, background checks, firearms should not be accessible to the average 18 year old, and ammunition should not be either. The lack of push for gun control after two back to back mass shootings in the United States, is an indication of how disconnected people are from reality. Our communities need to do a better job at taking care of each and every civilians mental health. The psychology of school shooters is that they are completely isolated inside of their mentally tormented mind, and our society, unfortunately, doesn't do that well of a job with developing true intimate connection with each other. You can have parents that bought you everything, but have emotionally neglected you. Feeling like an orphan, feeling like no one likes you, makes you lose all empathy for other people and causes you to go mad... NOT EXCUSING THIS AWFUL PAINFUL BEHAVIOR... In Texas almost everyone has a gun... except in 'gun free zones' like schools. You can't deregulate guns any more than that, it's a felony to even drive on school property even if the gun is unloaded and locked in a gun safe in your vehicle, even picking up your kids with an unloaded gun in a gun safe in your vehicle is 16 years in the slammer. Only bad guys have guns in gun free zones. We need good guys with guns, maybe have a few armed security guards on site at every school. Even if you went house to house and confiscated all guns and made them illegal, the bad guys would still have guns. Sad but true.

      People keep saying that but what does that actually mean if these people aren’t trained and skilled with a gun? You want a shootout in the middle of a classroom where one person has to actually focus and aim under what could be the most challenging and demanding thing they have ever or will ever do? All the while there is complete chaos with children yelling running and sobbing as they are gunned down by someone who simple has to shoot aimlessly and he’ll still hit some of his intended targets.
      I’ve done stress shoots and let me tell you, your efficacy drops significantly when under pressure unless you do them constantly.
      We leaving Friday afternoons open so teachers can go to stress shoots and shoot houses so they can have effective target discrimination and be able to return effective fire while under fire? So teachers are going to be a new policing force? We paying them more for this new skill set they’ll need, I mean they are already under paid? Do they need to bring their guns or you going to issues guns at the school?
      Like honestly, what does that plan really entail?

      @majorpwner241 2 года назад

      @@Teh_minotaurous You're exaggerating. Now imagine if EVERYONE is ready to defend their life... there may not even be a victim that day if someone decides to go feral on the rest of us, just one self appointed target. Where are the parents of this child? Why the grandmother was killed? Where did he get the money to buy these guns, and where did he get them? Why did he go on a rampage at an elementary school? How did this happen with all the school security and precautions in Texas schools? The news are all about the crisis. The politicians is about ignoring constitutional rights. If the teachers had guns, we would have a different conversation. Have we forgotten the politicians defunded police and took away the right to defend during mostly peaceful riots around the country?
