@clivewilliams65 I decided to record the sound simultaneously with a ZOOM H4 recorder put it back with the video !.... but maintained 192khz 48 bit stereo sound and then compromised the video quality to reduce upload time :-) i think it worked!

Hi, I love these Scottisches and the way you play, can I know the names of these different melodies?

Balma Rachel The Schottishe a Bethany and the Plane Tree are actually the same tune but played in different rhythms , the faster Plane Tree version is played as a Jig , with the tune "Herbert the Sherbert" put in to it at 3:45 regards Derek

Hi, where do these scottisches come from? Which region? If you help me to know that, it would be great!

Schottishe a Bethanie is also known as Mominet which was written by Maxou Heintzen and changed from 4/4 to 6/8 by Undine Hornby. As a jig (6/8) it's known as the Plane Tree. Schottische A Bethanie appeared in a Blowzabella tune book. The tune Herbert the Sherbert was written by Martin Ellison , UK , for the RANTAN band about 20 years ago. Martin still posts youtubes of beautiful melodeon tunes.
