Hi, I know you are a Yamaha guy now but I wanted to ask you if you have any experience with Honda’s electronic shift? I am looking at a Foreman for the farm with electric shift. Thanks
@@chadweaver251just want to say I’m still a Honda guy 100%. I love the grizzly but i will never not have a Honda or two. I do not know anything about the electric shift. I have the DCT on my rubicon and never have issues
Make dang sure you make a 1 year review videos! I wanna every year from now until 10 years from now for a 10 year review. I love these review videos!!! Keep up the good work brother.
My buddy has a pretty new Grizzly and I have a pretty new Outlander Max 1000 XTP. We've ridden each others bikes and the Grizzly may have impressed me if I hadn't ridden my Outlander 1000 first lol. I'm not knocking the Grizzly at all, it's just not remotely close to as powerful, quick, and fast as that damn 1000. It's scary. Granted, the Grizzly is probably less than half the amount of money to maintain too. Can-Am is insane with their pricing. Haven't had any issues with my Can-Am but I've had multiple Yamahas that I've never had any issues with either. They are great bikes.
I've owned a Grizzly, an 800 Canam Outty XT and currently a 2017 Canam Outty 1000R XT-P. The 1000R is just stupid.... way more power than I need or want. It's way too twitchy on the throttle for pulling on top of the truck deck. The 2007 800 I had was an absolutely perfect machine for power as are the newer 850 variants. If Yamaha came out with an 80hp Grizzly and still kept their 10 year belt warranty.... I would trade my Canam junk for one in a heartbeat. Canam are fun but they require money on top of the purchase price for clutching and suspension (and urethane bushings on anything pre-2024). A consumer should not have to shell out that much $$$ to make a new OEM machine "dependable".
They’re monsters. Anyone who says they’re slow is missing brain cells. 100kmph is plenty fast for off-road 😂 any faster is a death wish. I had my grizzly for 5 years, it’s a 09 special edition with a black flame 🔥 decal stock plastic. Such a nice fourhwheeler.
0:10 Dude that's way too fast to have just a ball cap on your head for protection. I'm usually not a safety queen but as I get older seeing that stuff makes me a bit nervous. Have fun, but put a lid on will ya?
Did your Grizzly only go 60mph?? I would expect 70mph. My Kingquad does 63 if I stay on it for a long period of time but it takes a long time to get to 63.
@@Beastking3249 I do not have mine tuned but I belive its the gearing that keeps it at 63 mph on the limiter. Very quick in trails that's what makes them fun
@@damienrichards9358 oh yeah I’ve driven a few 700 and 750 classes but I thought a smaller class like a 500 with not too much power was best since I let my whole family drive it. Which in my opinion of all of my quads none of them made me have a bad time so for me it’s whatever gets you on the trail with your buddies to have fun is perfect for you.
I hear ya praising those zillas but until you run a radial on the Grizzly you don't know what you're missing. The zillas are good while the trails are muddy or covered in snow but once the summer comes and the trails harden you'll want something better.
Break in period doesn't matter. Yamaha runs every single unit they produce wide open on a dyno before it leaves the facility. They do that to make sure its operating properly and producing proper power. I've taken brand new bikes and raced them right out of the crate.

Well no copyright sounds on RUclips and then I honestly screen record and then add audio only haha. Pain in the tail. This video actually got copyright anyways on the second song. So I don’t have an official answer
The camera work and editing is fantastic man. The grizzly is growing on me too. I new they were powerful but I didn’t know they were this powerful
Thanks. Yeah the longer I have the grizzly the more I’m liking it.
I have a 2020 grizzly eps and it's an absolute BEAST. Also have a kodiak 450 for comparison.
The one handed grizzly riding sums it up. Can am May have more power but the grizzly handles like a dream. Good video, keep it up.
Yes it sure does. Thanks!

Probably last longer too reliability wise ..
That’s some spirited riding - it’s what the Grizz was designed for!
Nice video, great scenery too.
Thanks. Yes couldn’t live anywhere better

Absolutely. My 2007 Kodiak 450 is still running the original belt. Great vid.
Same and battery
Appreciate you're not scared to give the new machine the beans.
Nope. Never have been. Never will be

With stock tires and nothing on the racks.
Yamaha makes really good atv's, would really like to try one out
Man its about time I upgrade from my Kodiak 450 to this😂
Yeah. It’s a big difference
I have a 2022 Grizzly with about 1300k on it now and it has not been over 25k an hour. I'm 68 and I like to look around in the bush
I love your videos also love the grizzly
Thanks and thank you I’m sure the grizzly appreciates it

I have a 2015 with 8k miles on and still going strong
Buy the new 2025 canam outlander 850!!!! It’s freaking nice man. Your views would shoot up as well, canam content is always great
Your right thumb is a lot like mine, two modes off/full on.
That is some beautiful area you are in , what I see ,,
Mine handles bad with 27s on the pavemet if i go over 75kmph
Best quad made ❤
Dang that looks like a blast. I'm anxious to get my hands on a Grizzly. Looks like a lot more power than my Rancher 420! 😅
Do you plan on doing any mods to the grizzly? Great video. We have the same 2 atv's (Rubicon 520 DCT / newer Grizzly 700)
Yeah. Mainly cosmetic for now. Definitely no performance mods while it’s under warranty. Those two are a great combo for sure.
How is the suspension on the Grizzly compared to your Honda Rubicon?
Better for fast pace but honestly I think the rubicon is smoother
Did your Grizzly only go 60mph?? I would expect 70mph. My Kingquad does 63 if I stay on it for a long period of time but it takes a long time to get to 63.
I thought if my 500 did 63 that would do 70
Grizzly will top out about 63-64 normally
If you got it tuned it would do 70 with no hesitation

How does your yammah grizzly do on gas? Does it get good gas mileage riding far from home like that?
I get around 100 miles per tank
We got 12.000 km on our zilla tires
