And they just named it at that thinking that they were going to use it. They forgot about it and just used it when Gohan fought the cell jrs.

This is by FAR one of the best if not THE best song from Dragon Ball Z along with Super Saiyan Vegeta’s theme, SSJ3 Power Up, Gohan Angers, Cha-La Head-Cha-La, Perfect Cell’s Theme, and Super Buu’s theme!

By having Super Shadow transforming back to base form and not being able to use the Chaos Blast, they pretty much indirectly said that way, that Vegeta would have died otherwise. There is actually a small moment in the Namek saga where I think Frieza was in his 2nd or 3th form, fighting against Piccolo, Vegeta, Krilin, Gohan & Dende. Gohan doesnt do much (same for Krilin & Dende) but he has his small heroic feat where he taps in his mystic powers and tries to counterattack Frieze. and then this song plays :P only for 10 seconds or so. so basicly, the first time this song appeared was that moment in the Anime probably, hence the name.

Verbal accounts from a former member of Faulconer productions (Morganstudios here on youtube is the one I'm referring to, he was part of Bruce Faulconer's production team. ) He said it was intended but changed. Eventually, it ended up in the garlic jr. Saga. Watch those episodes again. You'll hear the track that actually plays. It's an unreleased version of the main theme faulconer did that was used for frieza's second form. (or the last half of the track. Actually it's a completely different version.)

A part of me wishes that the Buu saga didn't take place so long after the Cell saga. I really want to see like, SSJ 2/3 Teen Gohan and Kid Buu fight. Bryan Sunga I was exaggerating. I would sooner watch Kai than FuniDub again, which I've been trying, actually, but Kai is hard to find streamed. DBZ *did* need to be redone because the original can feel very dated at parts. What Kai did though was cop-out and try to speed-run the series. By cutting half the series out they wipe out far more than just filler. The atmosphere is ruined, IMO. Drama takes time and cannot be rushed. Raditz practically flew in, smacked Krillin, declared himself Goku's brother, floored him, grabbed Gohan, and flew off. The Raditz scene in original Japanese is awesome even today.
GT does suck, Gohan is not supposed to use lower SSJ levels anymore, and rely on his mystical powers forever. Same goes with SSJ God powers, lower SSJ powers are never seen from sayians that get that powerful.

***** Technically, they lost all 3... By having Super Shadow transforming back to base form and not being able to use the Chaos Blast, they pretty much indirectly said that way, that Vegeta would have died otherwise.

In all honesty, not many characters outside the DBZ series and anime general may not be able to measure up to Gohan. Unless you want a DC or Marvel character to step in.

I think because it was originally intended but never actually made it into the show at that point. Instead, both fights with Frieza have the unreleased version of the Faulconer DBZ theme.
There is actually a small moment in the Namek saga where I think Frieza was in his 2nd or 3th form, fighting against Piccolo, Vegeta, Krilin, Gohan & Dende. Gohan doesnt do much (same for Krilin & Dende) but he has his small heroic feat where he taps in his mystic powers and tries to counterattack Frieze. and then this song plays :P only for 10 seconds or so. so basicly, the first time this song appeared was that moment in the Anime probably, hence the name.

NO. The track was never played in any of those scenes and I have proof. Verbal accounts from a former member of Faulconer productions (Morganstudios here on youtube is the one I'm referring to, he was part of Bruce Faulconer's production team. ) He said it was intended but changed. Eventually, it ended up in the garlic jr. Saga. Watch those episodes again. You'll hear the track that actually plays. It's an unreleased version of the main theme faulconer did that was used for frieza's second form. (or the last half of the track. Actually it's a completely different version.)

It's true that the American dub didn't truly respect the original Japanese experience, but they did a decent effort at creating their own atmosphere. Scott Morgan's (FuniDUB) OST can stand on its own as good music.

Bryan Sunga I was exaggerating. I would sooner watch Kai than FuniDub again, which I've been trying, actually, but Kai is hard to find streamed.
DBZ *did* need to be redone because the original can feel very dated at parts. What Kai did though was cop-out and try to speed-run the series.
By cutting half the series out they wipe out far more than just filler. The atmosphere is ruined, IMO. Drama takes time and cannot be rushed.
Raditz practically flew in, smacked Krillin, declared himself Goku's brother, floored him, grabbed Gohan, and flew off.
The Raditz scene in original Japanese is awesome even today.

GT does suck, Gohan is not supposed to use lower SSJ levels anymore, and rely on his mystical powers forever. Same goes with SSJ God powers, lower SSJ powers are never seen from sayians that get that powerful.
