- Everyday we are surrounded by household objects that were produced in the Far East: from kitchen utensils to children's toys. But German companies still place a lot of value on their products being "Made in Germany". One of the biggest reasons is that Germans are loyal to buying German goods, and value quality built items. US shoppers only look for the cheapest product, regardless where it's made.

So true. Americans in that sense are completely ignorant. They have allowed nearly all of their manufacturing base to erode and are at the mercy now of China who pumps out goods by the millions, charges a fortune for them and laughs as Americans buy them only to have them fall apart in a short time and clog up landfills in the US.

1 - China creates jobs for its population and keeps them while in Germany and the US, they use machines and throw people out of their jobs.
2 - What's the point of having cheap products if people can't afford them because they became jobless in the first place due to Automata ?
3 - Cost of manufacturing in Germany for these products might have become equal to China, however, "Made in Germany" exports still sell way higher than Chineseum products
4 - The most important reason: the Americans can make fun of it all they want in their hollywood movies but yeah, definitely, "China is the future", why ? because Europe and the US still haven't abandoned Darwinism and they are waging war all the time against other countries, leaving them poor, broken and with a constantly low wage ... for such markets only Chinese products become affordable
So yeah this video dates back to 2012 ... I'm sure in 2019 they have already realized that China is the future

@@uchennanwogu2142 Service jobs emerged due to the disappearance of manufacturing jobs due to machine taking place of men . . there isn't that much service jobs for all people to get hired . .
If you have a plethora of products on the market manufactured by CNC machines but every year less and less people are able to buy them because they have no income because they have no job or limited income . . then what's the point?
