@@johnjacob3160 true, if pain itself is the addictive part there are much cheaper ways to inflict similar pain. Nowadays everyone in America gets tattoos. They usually want to get a tat THEN think of something that means something to them. But the original thought is that they want a tattoo. They just give all the other reasons as excuses. In other cultures you have to get tattoos, like in Japanese culture if you're affiliated with a gang or criminal organization you're forced to get them and it's not something you showoff. In America it's for the clout or the look

I more or less just like didn’t really tell anyone outside my immediate family and best friend, lol. So later on when other people I hadn’t seen for a while or just people I knew noticed I all of a sudden had a tattoo on my wrist and ask my response was “oh got it last May”. And they’d respond “oh nice”. End of convo lol *shrugs*

My brother came home by 1 am (intoxicated) on a sunday night and went into my room to ask me if i wanted to see his new spontanious tattoo, i was like "sure"
He took off his shirt and he had a devils hand over the left side of his chest, almost where his heart is. (It looked really cool). He's like 9 years older than me but he was proud like a five year old showing off a new toy. I asked him the usual questions, like who's the artist, what friends had joined him, how painful it was etc. He was really excited to answer everything and tell me how fun he had. This wasn't his first tattoo but i think it is the most spontanious one he has done. After a while he just went to bed and i went back to sleep.
I really don't find it that annoying, i appreciate that he had something that he wanted to share with me- so much so that it couldn't wait til' the morning haha
