Right on! Every single e-bike and scooter I see, I want! lol.
This is probably the next kind of ebike that I need. I already own a full size 2.2 tire ebike (aventon level), a fat tire moped (himiway escape pro), and then a electric scooter. I just need to pick up a foldable bike that can fit in my wife's small SUV and I'll be set!
Just bought one. Thanks for tue review!
Is this water proof, is it ok to use it on a light rain, i just bought mine and its 3 days old
An amazing mini e-bike indeed!
Looks like a good bike! Looking forward to seeing what else you guys come out with!

@@NowaNowaBC-CANADAthe EBE1 has a IPX4 waterproof rating. Meaning it is splash waterproof. It should not be submerged into water though.
Looks more high quality than other chinese 16 inch ebikes. Way better value than a brompton/electric brompton while being similarly portable. Small enough to take into the office, buildings, trains without people batting an eye. Not sure about airplane though. I know brompton is small enough to fit in overhead compartment due to its origami folding design. Single gear hurts it though. Brompton is actually comfortable to pedal despite its miniature size due to gears.

Really love your video very detailed and thoughtful. Very well put together subscribed
Thanks for the sub!
Mini bikes are so popular now
Yep scooters too. All forms of micromobility are popular now if u live in a city especially. I only use my car for longer distances
Yes mini bike🚴 👍
Cool little bike. Wonder if you can unlock the speed
Haven't heard if you can or not, let us know if you do
I've had this e-bike for 2 years now and absolutely love it! The rear fender broke off pretty early just with regular riding, and I just had to replace the crank set after 2 years, but it's a great simple starter e-bike for tooling around New York City with my dog in tow. The only flaw is I haven't been able to find a second battery for this bike. The company stop selling them (extra batteries) a long time ago and won't share where to find them. If you know where I can purchase extra batteries for this e-bike, please let me know and add a link. Thanks for the great review!
How much would you say the range is realisticly with
Throttle only
Pedal assist
And is pedaling hard on this bike with no pedal assist
@@frostedgamer8484 ~ I’ve never done just “throttle only” because I like to pedal.
Pedal assist on flat ground (no hills) I’ve easily done 20 miles. Pedaling is comfortable with no pedal assist. It rides like a normal no gear bike. I really enjoy it. 😀

Any idea how the battery holds up in the cold (winter)
@@jacksonboyd1050 ~ Can’t really speak on how it holds up. I have another more powerful e-bike that I use during Winter months. I only use the GOTRAX for leisure rides. I really like it though.

It lasts you two summers (about 18 months) before battery dies and you cant get a replacement
There a a ton of replacements on Amazon
It says to hold the M button to turn on, but it doesn't. How do I turn it on?
If it's not turning on like that, you may have an issue, I'd reach out to the company directly
It's kind of crazy that they advertise 28 miles of range but you were only getting 14 mi on average. Do you think they advertise that because that's with just pedal assist?
normally every electric bike or scooters tested range is lower than advertised sadly
pedal assist might matter a bit, but also things like rider weight, weather, etc matter as well
Range is tricky, so many things affect it, temp, rider, PAS level, humidity. 28 miles is what you can expect if you're a light rider, around 150 and ride very easy and slow around 15 mph

What's you weight and height? I got this horrible image imprinted in my memory of a 250lb 5ft 5in guy riding the Jetson which they insist are for adults. He looked like one of those circus bears on a tiny motorcycle.
Haha I'm 5'11 and 185 lbs

Good driver I can't ride mine with no hands 👐
it seems long - for a short person perhaps no?
Whats the proper way to use it when going up steep hills?
Throttle at the bottom and then pedal or throttle the entire time while pedaling?
Start climbing with speed and pedal the entire time, shifting down as you go up
On Amazon it say speed is 15.5 but on videos I watch they say 20-25
I think they fudge the numbers on Amazon because they'll get the listing taken down if it says over 15.5
What is the name of the app you use?

I just got one and I can’t fold it. The locking safety latch is too hard! Do i have to push it down first or sideways or something? Because it doesn’t budge if I just pull it up!
If I remember correctly there's some pin or something you need to do first in order to collapse it, if not there may be a screw you can adjust so it's not that hard

Yeah you should be ok riding in light rain
I'm confused between this and the gyrocopter whiz or frost, any suggestions or insight?
Haven't tried the other two. Gotrax is a good brand though, really can't go wrong for the price
how hard is it to pedal when you run out of battery compared to a regular bike?
Not bad, pretty much feels like a normal bike, it's not that heavy
Is just pedaling this hard?
Shouldn't be, do you have the PAS level set to the highest level?
can it go faster than 25 km?
No
How long does it last?
Around 25 miles
Can you buy a second battery for a longer ride ?
Yeah
@@ElectricRevolution ~ Where exactly can you buy an authentic (not aftermarket) battery for this bike? Please add a link. Thanks
Anyone find where to buy them ?
This looks like a rebranded Fiido.
Batteries are real garbage in those bikes. Me and my friend both bought that bike and the battery lasted 2 summers. Used it for 3 months each summer. My friend took it 2-3 times on the second summer because of a surgery. Brought them inside and charged it every month as specified. No change. And good luck to find another battery. Will never recommend those bikes.

For the price this is a major let down
Really? I didn't think so, I thought it matched up pretty good
