Not so fun fact- greed breeds greed. Let's see how many 12 yr olds who never watched indigo league (episode by episode) every morning before school! I love that the prices come down on these. Actually in my price range to pick up a couple boxes now.
Not too hard to profit on current box prices. We saw almost $200 a box not too long ago, they wont print forever. We could see boxes get stupid in a few years.
Everyone needs to remember that Evolutions was mass over printed and stayed on shelves for years. Now it's $20-$30 a pack ... Think long term! Don't get caught in the short term noise.
Evolutions is the best comparison to Japanese 151 but 151 is such a better set with more valuable chase cards so in the long run its gonna be something indeed.

@@KevinP-p7x evolutions had its last reprint in 2019, 3 years and some months after it’s release. They reprinted right at the beginning of the boom

Nowhere around me has 151, let alone Japanese 151, so I haven’t opened any, and I refuse to pay for the insane shipping costs.
Just found a sealed copy from ebay. Free shipping and 75 usd lol but I'm canadian so it came to 106 canadian dollars
151 for now is for ripping for fun , good price for some ripping and maybe value raw
I’ve only opened 2 boxes of 151 and got lucky and pulled the Mewtwo masterball out of the second box.
That’s why you buy loads now to rip and keep loads in storage in a year 151 will be worth well over $151
No doubt when it’s out of print it will be back at $250 a box eventually
not a year they just reprinted might even get a English one too with prices exploding in the English cards lately. But I give it 2-3 years for sure. Will it be scarVs eskies? Probably not with the rocket set, eevee set, and eventually new Megas in legends ZA. But lots to look forward too.
@@andrewmahabir589 in a year 151 will be over $150 easy in 2-3 it will be over $300 when they stop printing and maybe this could be the last print who knows the price will steadily go up . And you can have more than one good set in a generation that explodes .

151 got me back into card collecting and i was able to get my first booster box with a full art charizard ex for 90$. As a kid i always dreamed of being able to get a booster box but i could never afford it. Im glad that they went down in price so the regular guys could enjoy the cards

That is a victory! You opened an error box. It is rare to have an SR and SAR in the same box. Most of the time there is only an SR or SAR. Nice pulls!

Wait, I thought you could only pull 1 full art/ SAR/ gold card from a box, not multiple ones?! (except the god packs) I opened 12 boxes of them and there always was just 1 full art in it and no SAR...Or is that just me?😅
I paid $200 for a box when they cirst came out, then i bought 2 boxes for $100 at my lgs, now i just bought 3 for $50 each.. this long term should do real well
I think you should try to be profitable in twilight, with two SIRs at over $100, 2 SIRs $50+ and some decently priced IR the chances are there
Bought 4 sealed at $50each , plan to hold them for 2yrs. Only expecting to maybe sell em for 120 when the time comes. Nothing major.

I got super lucky 8 boxes. Pikachu on first and Gengar in the 5th - masterball cards of course. Gengar art work is my favorite. Thought it was amazing since I saw the English holo!

The idea of 151 was great. But print lines ruins it. too many holo ball characters. If they had masterballs for like 10 characters it would have been good.

For universal balance the next set you do to see if you can make a profit in is of course English 151!! For the trophy and for science!

You have to buy them now so that in the future when this that's worth crazy amounts of money like evolving Skies you've got them also remember these are a kid's collector card game ultimately not an investment for money

Chinese ES and FS aka Nine Colors gathering friends and Nine Colors gathering source should be next. In regards to Japanese 151 I opened 6 BB and got nothing worth while out of it. Just standard $10-15 master balls. But the boxes cost me 60 each, so I got 6 MB's and a bunch of ex. Got burned less than paying 180-200 a box.

Do you play Texas Hold em ? because you use a lot of poker terminology.
The zoom in needs to be cut down a little. Or if you zoom in then don't zoom in the main camera, just the face cam. Main camera is way too jumpy
