For me, This is my favorite movie of 2006, What I like about this movie is Lightning McQueen himself, And his relationship with Sally is very cute. I appreciate your opinion on this movie.😘🙂
Cars was a movie from my childhood. I had fun watching this and had a lot of good times with it. Kinda surprise you didn't mention "Life is a Highway" by Rascal Flatts since you kept bringing up the four delinquents. The soundtrack isn't anything to write home but Cars did have some decent soundtrack throughout the film. I personally like "Life is a Highway" my favorite song out of the entire film mainly because it captures the feeling of being on the road going to state to state and the music is country which is a great choice. The other music in the film are just okay or meh. Anyway this was a great review and I'm glad I was able to share my little experience and I hope to see what you'll say about Cars 2 (even though I'm pretty sure I know what it'll be) I'll give my little 2 cents about Cars 2: I haven't seen Cars 2 in forever but I remember it being kinda bad almost like it tried to have Mater be the center of attention and nothing else. Mater was funny in Cars because he was able to bounce off of Lightning and his egotistical behavior. It was a nice duo having Mater being dumb yet charming to Lightning's ego and not understanding how the small town works. It was perfect for the set up between a city folk and a country boy but in Cars 2 Mater is an idiot without the charm and Lightning isn't the focus this time which means the dynamic between the two are gone. Mater now has to interact with two field agents who are not very funny and the dynamic isn't the same. They were there to fill in for the Lightning role of handling Mater but I don't think they understood how they made the dynamic worked in Cars. In Cars 2 Mater was a field agent as well and was trying to understand the tech and being an idiot while the two field agents are trying to follow along or give out instructions about the tech. With Mater out of his elements, the part that makes Mater "Mater", was simply screwed by this movie. He works a lot better when he's in his element, something that he knows while others think it's ridiculous but it makes sense to him and later on it'll make sense. Cars 2 was really the example of having human characters wouldn't change the story. (Hope you can read this all and I appreciate you for reading this 😁)
