  • Nike has been an iconic brand in fashion and clothing apparel for decades. Over the last few years...Nike has struggled to remain relevant and was forced to layoff employees as a result. Last month...Nike lost $28 billion in value in one day.
We reveal and react to the downfall of Nike. We outline a variety of reasons...as to why Nike is struggling. We compare the current state of Nike to other woke brands like Target and Bud Light...and question if Nike can fully recover.

Now there are calls for a boycott on John Deere as they have been all in on the wokeness, DEI, and employees being forced to do the critical race theory training.

They seem to have done okay without your support. Do you unequivocally believe your unilateral opinion really matters to Nike?
Paraphrasing President Abraham Lincoln; “You can please some of the people…all of the time OR all of the people…some of the time, but you cannot please ALL of the people…ALL of the time.” Only a fool would presuppose the latter.

When I heard that Colin Kaepernick was going to be the spokesperson for Nike, that was the day I stopped buying Nike sneakers. My daughter argued that it wasn't going to change anything. It was hard for me because I like Nike sneakers, but I persevered.
For strength and inspiration I listen to Dr. Steve Turley who said "we have to vote with our wallets".
Thank you for the good news that my holdout of purchasing Nike products wasn't in vain.

Along with all of the things mentioned in this video, the one thing that really sealed the deal for me was when Nike released a few years ago to celebrate Independence Day a line of patriotic sneakers. They had the American Flag with the 13 stars signifying the 13 colonies created by Betsy Ross. As they were being released, Colin Kaepernick complained that the 13 starred American Flag on the shoes were a sign of racism. After his complaints went viral, Nike took them off the market. That basically told me that they hate the country.
It's disappointing to know that Nike owns Converse. I have a couple of pairs of those sneakers.

Nike did okay for a while with Kappernick. His was the top selling jersey for a while. However, their anti-American approach turned off a lot of people. Now that money is tight, those lost customers loom much larger. In this economy, it easy not to save money and not patronize companies that hate you.

The story as I heard it was the rabbit and the scorpion.
Nike is putting out junk now. Have you seen the current major league uni’s? They look like they belong on little leaguers. Tiny name on the back mis matched grey pants and shirts shrunken logos on the front and substandard piping around the neck. Really poorly made. Add that to becoming ultra woke. It’s all downhill from here as woke as Nike likes to claim they are there was a point in time when the Nike headquarters was about to become part of the city of Beaverton and Phil Knight threaten to pack up the whole thing and move because he didn’t want to pay the extra taxes.

This is why I come here for the news...other internet sources would have you believe that Nike's "gross profit for the quarter ending February 29, 2024 was $5.562B, a 3.56% increase year-over-year."
That might not appear at first glance to be a "huge embarrassing failure" but people in the know flock to this channel to have KC explain it to them, as only KC can do.
