A Short Hike is the best "feel good" game I ever played. This was a good opportunity to see it again.
Such a sweet game - and such a sweet runner too! Also hey, I didnt know the game got an update! Need to go download it again...
Never heard of this game, then saw the first 20 seconds of the run, paused it, bought the game on steam and beat to to almost 100% (Still haven't caught a few fish). Absolutely amazing game, highly recommend everybody to do a casual playthrough.
Now I'm back to watch the rest of this run!
Played this game this week when it came out on switch. It brought tears of joy to my eyes. Warm_Ham really fits the game, what a nice runner☺

A Short Hike was my game of the year last year and probably one of my top games ever... I have so much love for this game and really want to play it again! It was so fun to see it ran!
I picked this wonderful game up on the switch and my first thought after completing it was “this would be so fun to speedrun” because the movement is so fun and the game is so short! So glad to see this!
I just started playing this the other day when it hit the Switch, and I was thinking how there was probably some very short possible route. Imagine my surprise when the game was already scheduled for this event! Though that was also me learning that the game wasn't brand new like I had thought.
Anyway good job! I'm still working on finding all the fish and not screwing up the parkour race to the lighthouse because Claire keeps wanting to ram her face into the cliff instead of going up the stairs.

This is my first time seeing the run with the Orange Island content, and I was wondering how the boat damage quest would be dealt with. I never even considered the fact you can just _not_ take the ramp. This game is amazing.
Played this for the first time yesterday. Beat it in about an hour, and it made me keep a dumb smile on my face all the way through. It’s fantastic.
I am so glad i watched this speedrun. I had no clue where the 20th feather was because it moved!

Wait after the update I ended up with 21 gold feathers
hi donov - yep! that happened to a lot of us. the save data from your playthrough on the previous patch carried over to the new patch, so the game still thinks you collected the gold feather on top of the rock near college kid, which no longer exists. if you were to start a new file, you would only be able to get 20.
