2023-24 Mustangs Purple Blanket Profiles: Rachel Weber

The start of her Mustangs career may have been during the most difficult of times, but Rachel Weber has finished her time in purple and white showcasing some of the best results in recent memory.
Having joined the team during the cancelled 2020/21 season Weber didn’t have the chance to have a full athletic resume but has gone on to win gold medals at OUA & Canadian University Rowing Championships in every year she has competed.
Weber rounds out her Mustangs career with five OUA gold medals, mostly in the highest value events of the 4+ and 8+, one CURC bronze {2023 HW8+), one CURC silver {2022 HW2-), and one CURC gold {2023 HWlx).
Weber represented Canada at the 2023 Under-23 World Rowing Championships, where she won her B Final and achieved 7th place overall in the heavyweight women's pair category.
Academically, Rachel is a repeated Academic All-Canadian, mostly recently in the 2022-2023 season.
