      My friend Elise who was born as transgender, was told by her family not to come to her fathers funeral. She went missing for a number of days until she floated up onto the shore of Lake Michigan. It was reported as a suicide.
      She was soft spoken and a gentle person.
      What hope does she have in not going to hell. I loved her as a sister because she was so gentle. Tell me please Mufti Menk. What is your understanding about what happened?

    "There is no beauty better than intellect" ( Prophet Muhammad). Qur'an has all the answers to resolve any problem we are facing but we need to pay attention to it. If we follow the teachings of Qur'an, somewhere inside our heart there is a satisfaction for everything we do. This satisfaction consoles a heart and relaxes a soul. ALHUMDULILLAH and I am greatly thankful to Allah for everything that He bestowed upon me; the most beautiful form of rizq is not only money, but it's also tranquility of a soul, healthiness of a body, purity of a heart, soundness of thoughts and a beautiful soul full of Emaan. I have found myself to have all the reasons against this or that concerning parents but lately realised that I had a behavior that was far away from patience, one has to realize our parents were born at a different time, different generations, different upbringing, that they have had their own issues, their own childhood filled with good or bad or even highly traumatic events...yet, they carried on ... They surely make mistakes just like every human being make...as children, having everything is easy ...growing up in the age where technologies are spreading and having everything makes us grow sometimes very ungrateful... We expect things from others that we don't expect for ourselves. We follow trends and whatever makes us temporarily happy ... And we tend to forget that our own choices bring us good or bad results...then the finger pointing exercise starts trying to find who is guilty for our own sadness. There are healthy families where everything looks good and fantastic yet underlying issues...and there are what people call "Toxic" families because issues are not addressed properly and not resolved and teachings not passed on...where one would rather move on and forget than speak true feelings and grudging on them. So to make it short before constantly feeling down or thinking parents are always at fault ...and even when they are ...one must try to understand what they've been through and where they come from. And sometimes we have to look into ourselves and at ourselves to change and see changes around us. Easier said than done but I pray everyone having family problems will find a healthy and positive way to deal with it and In Sha Allah heal the wounds of the past with the Help of Allah the most High ,🤲🏼💕💗🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🤲🏼🤲🏼🤲🏼🤲🏼🤲🏼

My father got married and left us. It was really hard and challenging to be with mother. She has full of anger and bitterness towards my father. She used to tell us negative about my father. I did not understand when I was young until I reached a certain age. She loves money money. When she’s mad she used to curse me or my other siblings. I developed anger and hatred toward my mother. Not a good relationship. I always make duaa to find peace and forgiveness because my mother hurt me so much.

      Assalamualaikum. How about responsibility of husband's family on me. His father and his younger sister (28yr old Divorced & cancer patient). Its been 5 yrs of marriage and we all live Toghether but since last few months his sister doesn't respects me, insults me and father too had stop talking to me. Infact my husband supports them and fights with me all the time. I told my husband I can't handle this I said I want seperate house or kitchen. But he isn't ready for it. Infact my sister in law doesn't even want to get married since she already divorced and with cancer no proposals are coming to her. What do I do. I want my seperate kitchen atleast. Advice please.

    • @nily974
      @nily974 Год назад

      @@AKhan-ee3gk talking bad about his family is just going to damage your relationship with your husband. You should avoid that at all costs.
      You should instead try showing him indirectly the true face his family hides from him.
      My sister was like you, every time she tried to talk about his family he would shout her down. They were even in the verge of divorce but one day she received a call from her sister in law telling her that she hopes that they'll divorce...
      That's when she decided to change tactics and become as sneaky as them.
      For example, when my sister was at her in-laws and my brother in law wasn't home, they let her starve all day and didn't let her cook anything. He only returned late at night, and then the in laws were hurrying to prepare dinner. (He provides them money so that's why they trat him like a prince)
      To take her revenge, all my sis did was eat with her husband on his plate (there was only his plate in the table so she wouldn't eat) and comment on how she was starving because she didn't eat all day. That day my brother in law gave them an earful. The in laws were so red of rage and ashamed that they were caught.
      My brother in law is still very protective of his family but now at least he knows that they're no saint.
      Ps: the sister in law is also divorced and her her high life maintenance expenses are all covered by my brother in law. She wants my sister to divorce so she could get more allowance.

    most of parents think there previous, present, future sins are forgiven by giving child birth and started doing whatever they want and however. some parents treat their daughter and son-in-law very lovely way but they treat their son and daughter-in-law like slave. some parents are so much dominating. another one is age gap. age gap is a disaster (most of the time) for younger one.
