I once saw a dude have a similar start and had mycosynth lattice on the board by turn 3 then the dude got hit with an overloaded vandalblast the following turn by a precon 😂
I played with friends who thought a 9-10 was cedh so they would say theirs were like "7s" I started saying my decks were 4s. I also found it way easier to just talk gameplan/what turn your deck could potentially win
@@colbybastian17on god i hate those people 😂 just because they miss like 2 multiple hundred dollar cards they think the deck is way weaker. When in reality its still 99% of the power. Tbh, as soon as someone plays cedh viable commanders and has a couple staples from said deck in there its probably too strong for most casual tables.

i had a friend that popped off like that once and i all i could remember was he only had 3 cards in hand left when he had a 'Go Blank' cast on him turn 2
That was crazy, if I counted correctly that's 2 C land from crypt and 2 C land from sol, 2 forests from the spell, and the a RG from Gruul signet. But in the order he played them he must have had a forest on the field as well so that's access to 9 lands before draw step on turn 2!!! That's fuckong insane!!!

I did something similar today. May or may not have gotten a turn 3 win off it. It was glorious, and made me the first one hit for the rest of the night.
I have had a similar turn one with a Teferi Deck where on the first turn I was able to get out both of those and Grim Monolith... and Chain Veil. ...and won.
Few years ago I won a game in the upkeep of my turn 3, my commander was Heartless Hidetsugu and I managed to play him turn 2 after a ridiculous turn one and two which did involve sol ring and mana crypt. What was nuts though, I had the win in hand, I'd played Dark Sphere on my turn 2. In my upkeep the opponent decided they were going to swords to plowshares my Hidetsugu. They were the only opponent who had a response ready at all. In response to the Swords, I activated Hidetsugu, and with his ability on the stack, cracked Dark Sphere AND flashed in Dictate of the Twin Gods. That was the literal god hand that game.
I think my best turn 1 was mana rocks, in to turn 1 unwinding clock with a voltaic key in play, then turn 2 dropped the Lux Cannon and presented the ability to blow up at least 2 lands per turn cycle and started the next game

this happened to me with a Maelstrom wanderer deck. Turn 2 cast Wanderer. Turn 3 cast a hasty Kozilek, Butcher of Truth. After the annihilator went on the stack we called it there 😂
I wouldn't even just limit it to an "okay cedh turn" but rather just call that kind of hand all fuel and no car. Those last three cards better replenish that hand, or you're not having a cool time.

K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth cast form command zone with Jeweled Lotus and Swamp, play and sacrifice 6 Shadoborn Apostles, put Vilis, Broker of Blood into play, pay into him to draw for Song of The Damned, Dark Ritual, Sheoldred, The Apocalypse, and a Wound Reflection. Song of the Damned casts Wound Reflection, Dark Ritual cast Sheoldred. Combo off for tons of draw and life, use Blood Celebrant to cast a bunch of demons, and finish with Temporal Extortion for an extra turn, Wound Reflection means anyone who pays for Wound Reflection loses so I get the extra turn, swing for lethal.
I genuinely feel bad when I hit a hand like this... like not for my opponents per se like I feel the "hehe... I'm in danger" energy radiating through my spine....
Its why you run a commander than can accrue you value. Ive had similar starta to this, but used the mana to flash in a Damia, Sage of Stone T2 on the last player's end step to draw back to 7 and keep going :P
My dino deck had the sickest (non Gishath) turn i could hope for, and i was not running it, i let a friend play it. Hunting raptors(attack), stampede tyrant, primal conqueror (ghalta/mavren, their 1 life per spell(artifact) and defense of the heart) i think it was on 4 mana. The only thing that missed was had to sacrifice pantzala on the attack so couldn't get the discover trigger off of stampede tyrant.
I had a start similar to this at my LGS, I then was fighting a war on three fronts until the game ended. It might seem cool, but everyone’s hate cards come your way
