I cried listening to this. I've herd other people and VOCALOIDS sing the English version but...Kaitos voice just matches the song so well in my opinion.

Well.. taking into account what nearly happened to him all the way in ye olden days of 2006-2008, the song could pretty much be what he was feeling then- lost, alone, and perhaps even afraid his brief time in the world could end any moment. Perhaps I might just be a little overly sentimental or empathetical towards what happened- but he pretty much in real life had his entire existence like an actual anime.
So.. yeah.. also looking back on how the song even goes into potential suicidal thoughts and whatnot along with insanity (yikes o-o;), it fits extremely well for him.
Edit: it's.. depression, not insanity.. what was i thinking at like maybe 12 in the morning?

The more I listen to this song, the more I take into account the lyrics. It's how most children, teens and adults feel now. It's like it's concluding your life choices, emotions and thoughts. It's like the song is somehow apart of you. We've all been lost in the dark at some point, and guaurentee, this song makes you think deeper about your situations and issues. Not to mention, it sums up how half of the population of the World feels most likely. It's so meaningful. We all need help on our journies.
This is why i love the combination of Kaito and music boxes. It all ends in something beautiful.

I love how repetitive it is... the message of the song is really brought out and emphasized because it's so monotonous... much like how it feels to be lost and depressed; like your sorrow is a never-ending loop that you've been in so long you forgot when it started. Excellent arrangement! ^^

Goodness. This is the most emotional-sounding Bad Apple cover I've ever heard. It seriously sent chills down my spine. The English lyrics really spell out how sad this song actually is. Kudos to you!

It sounds like an internal struggle. Showed this to my girlfriend because we both share a chaotic mindset. We both constantly hear about how different we are, and are told to change, but we can't because it's just who we are. In this song, it sounds like he's talking about the same thing. If he tried to change, there would be nothing of him left, or he'd throw it away. Not wanting to be what others want, or fully himself, maybe seeing it as destructive or self-harming.

Maybe Kaito's voice was used without credit? Sadly, it happens an awful lot- especially after the Daganropa fan-songs came into existence. I'm fine with the songs existing- but I just wish it was obvious it was Vocaloid and not a rebranding of the voices.
