The whole film has no dialogue and only subtitle descriptions, but it gives people a different feeling. In just 30 minutes, it perfectly introduces Taiwan's local characteristics, good job
Made my first solo trip in Taiwan more than a decade ago and it still brings warm memories. Your video gave me a lot of nostalgia, thanks 🙂 I like Taiwan’s laid back vibes, kind people, easy transpo, and good food.
I am half Taiwanese, half Swiss. With covid, I haven't been back to Taiwan since 2018 and really miss it. With my work right now it's also difficult to plan a long trip from europe, so watching this relaxing video showing some of my second home was really heartwarming. Thank you!
Just back at home after spending a year in Taiwan on a university exchange. Really enjoyed watching your video and reliving my experience there. Taiwan is such an amazing place that I hope more people get to go there and see it for themselves. I'm especially missing the food right now !
Hi Mr Solo. I’m a longtime fan, got hooked on your vlogs during the dreary pandemic years. Always found your solo excursions soulful and rewarding. I’m in Beitou now and visited the Bathhouse Museum yesterday; free and worth a visit. It reminded me of the Japanese period in Taiwan. I loved your Taiwan video. You certainly captured the incredible energy in this beautiful island country. Look forward to your next excursion.
I just wanted to say thank you for making your videos. They are like meditation and help me to relax, especially with all the crazy things happening (specifically) in my life.
Always such amazing videos you bring to us! Thank you a lot! It brings me hope that one day i will be able to visit both Taiwan and Japan, to feel those unique vibes from each country. ❤
I've heard great things about Taiwan as a travel destination and your vlog definitely did it justice. I like how your trip blended the modern city, the more traditional neighborhoods and the beautiful countryside on the outskirts of Taipei. It seems quite similar to Japan whilst unique in its own way. Thanks for sharing your travel vlog with us - once again very comforting, motivational and expertly shot.
I never used to appreciate vlogs and videos like this, but that changed ever since I started your channel during the covid pandemic. The feeling I get from watching your videos is equivalent to feeling warm, content, and relaxed. It's also interesting and educational. You tick all the boxes in making such unique and enjoyable content. I talk about this channel a lot with my friends (maybe too much lol), as I also enjoy travelling and capturing moments like this myself. I'm really curious how this channel and your experience will progress in the future 🤍 Is there any other places abroad you are planning or wish to travel to next?
I hope you go to Taiwan again. Loved the ambiance of your videos. You did a good mixture of natural street sounds and music. It was very soothing and took me back to Taiwan
It is sad and really takes the motivation out of me to see comments about thing I have already explained and has nothing to do with the video itself I have spent a month making.
What videos?? I just subscribed the channel just around 2 months ago. Is there were any videos removed 🤔 I didn't know about it. Well he must have a solid reason to do so😊. Whatever he makes i just enjoy ❤
@sorekaratravel4533 Please ignore these types of comments & live as you choose. Everything is a gift. We recognize that you don't have to post your incredibly satisfying art. We so appreciate that you do! It's not always easy to exist, to be human. I know from my own feelings & the beautiful comments of others that your posts do more than nurture & comfort us. Wow! Every one of your videos is a journey! My friend lives in Taipei now. Also, about a month ago I've watched "Millennium Mambo"... And some time before that "Taipei Story"... You video reminded me of those movies.
Thank you for the enjoyable journey. I hope you will visit my favorite city at some point, Bangkok. When EVA Air began operations, I took it from Bangkok to LAX. We had to stop over in Taipei, and the airline treated the transit customers to a meal from a hotel in the city. Such delicious food! It was a potato soup and a fried noodle dish. Nothing fancy but very memorable. They surely knew how to create customer good-will. ^^
Taiwan was my first country/territory that I went to, and with my mom. I went to Taipei, Juifen, Shifen and then Taichung city. That was 2018. Watching this video, made me feel nostalgic, I really enjoyed our trip there. Also, it made me wonder how the hell was I able to make the itinerary for 5 days and fulfilled them. Lol. I’m out of touch in traveling due to pandemic. I hope to be back on it soon. By the way, I love your style of vlogging!
33℃ at 9AM oh my god.. I live in the city that sits right on the equator but usually it reach 33℃ at noon.. still don't get used to the heat tho lol. Anyway, I always love your videos, man.. keep it coming 👍
Taiwan chosen over South Korea 😢 Hope you enjoyed yourself there. I heard so many times that Taiwan is like Japan in some way, so I hope I can explore there someday 🎉

hai i from indonesian. The first video I watched on your RUclips was your morning routine video where you wake up and check the empty to do list on your cellphone and after that you cook rice and you also go for a walk to exercise. Did you delete it even though I wanted to watch it again but I looked for it already? there isn't any and I'm sure it's a video from your RUclips is it true
oh i started crying at the shot of the fireworks! you always have such lovely videos… i will definitely add taipei to my travel wishlist! maybe when its not so hot tho haha
If you are talking about restaurants run by Japanese companies, then no. There was no difference in taste. But there were some menu that did not exist in Japan. Personally Taiwanese food seemed to be lighter in flavor than Japanese food.
I think this is one of those videos that people in 2074 will look back and say 'oh this is what Taipei looked like 50 years ago!' Great travel vlog as always, love your background music. btw did you notice the entering greeting music in FamilyMart is different from Japan's?

Anything is okay park restaurant department museum anything. And i love ur video. thank you. Have a nice day
For many Taiwanese Chiang-kai-shek memorial hall isn't the metaphor for democracy but a symbol for autocracy. In fact he was the instigator for 228 accident and claimed the lives of thousands of Taiwanese nationwide. He and his son had ruled Taiwan with iron fists for about 40 years. The followers of Chiang-kai-shek fleeting China to Taiwan and their descendants only occupies 12 % citizens currently living in Taiwan but almost all the important positions in the governments, military, judicial courts, tertiary education and media were given to them by Chiang-kai-shek and his son during their ruling Era. The amount of resources reserved for local Taiwanese was pretty slim and many of them felt like being treated as the inferior class. Today about 80 % of important positions in military and about 70% of key positions in media is still dominated by the second or third generations of those Chiang-kai-shek followers. The government dare not tear down the statue and the building for fear that it'll cause serious attacks from media and kindle the disturbance in Taiwanese society.
