The final chapter of the Griffin Village series is here! I hope it will have been worth the wait! (Thank you all for being so patient!)
The protagonist from the previous songs finds that his wings are completely healed! He's ready to head home and leave Ponyville for good. However, a certain pony seems to have him glued to the ground~

I haven’t heard this song when My Little Pony was in It’s prime, but even right now it just reaches out to me and displays an ensemble of affects on me. Reminiscing every memory possible like my childhood, teenage years, up until now.

It's been a lot of years since this came out. But nothing has changed when it comes to this beautiful song. It's honestly one of my favorite songs! It's so touching and sweet. I hope one day you come back to making this amazing music!
I listened to the entire Griffin Village album on my way back from school, today...and today was the day I realized just how beautiful this song is. It doesn't matter to me that this song is about two guys (stallions, whatever)...it's just brilliant. It's awesome (in the true sense of the word) when you're walking alone in the sun. I firmly believe this is one of the best love songs I've ever heard. It's just perfect.

It's not always about just the lyrics. Sometimes that accompanying melody can give it just the right feeling to where it's quite emotional. Although, the lyrics of this would probably sound beautiful regardless of melody or no melody.

Well, this song just made me realise I still have a bit of homophobia in me. When I found out the story I had a moment of "I'm not sure about that."
That's not something nice to discover in onseself, luckily I can logically quash it. This song is so sweet and happy that it sort of made me realise on an emotional level for the first time that love is love, it really doesn't matter. I always thought it logically, but emotionally apparently I didn't...

My god, 7 years later.. I never even heard this song or any of the series of songs for that matter.. just stumbled across this.. and I'm overwhelmed with emotion.. God this is a bittersweet song.. Incredible job..
10 years... it makes me ponder all the gold that will stay forever obscure.
I think the pegasus is in a learning path for love. After feeling the sweetness of love with Lyra and Bonbon, with Derpy he learns how to be affectionate, and he comforts Gilda when she's sad and lonely. After passing all those tests, he finally stumbles upon his one true love: Big Mac.
So it's kind of an initiation path to love. But that's how I interpret it, so I'd love it if JackleApp said more about the story :D
As I'm listening, I can't help but be sad because I miss looking out for his music, wondering where he is now :(

I just wanted to say that this song is really nostalgic to me now. I remember being kinda into MLP because of the music, and this is the only song I come back to, because the song is so sweet. The vocals really reflect that gentility, and I hope the people involved, if they're still kicking, are well.

It's been a little over 10 years since this came out so I dunno if the songwriter will ever see this but this song is what helped me figure out I was bisexual when I was younger, along with the rest of the MLP fandom at the time, but this was the catalyst. I really appreciate you making this.
