This music video was so incredible to watch because it doesn’t paint either of them as “the good guy” or “the bad guy.” It paints them as human. And I know that the song is just going to continue these real human emotions and be very relatable.
I so agree with your comment, when Charlie and Sabrina were happy and in love in one moment, it looked real and then in another moment they were screaming, arguing and yelling at each other and both of them were in tears was also very real, the emotions throughout this short film for me hit home!!! The acting of Charlie and Sabrina were 100/100!!

Charlie gradually lost his feeling towards her because of that. He ignored her. He tried to save the relationship by going to couple theraphy with her, but it didn't work. Things got worse. They argued a lot. Charlie was upset with what she did, she was upset with what Charlie did. In her point of view, he couldn't have serious talk with her to talk calmly and together solved these problems. In the end, this relationship couldn't be saved. This short movie is a prequel to That's Not How This Works music video which later will be released 😊.

For years, he was being humble and said he can't act, though THIS masterpiece was made with the legendary Sabrina Carpenter! I am so impressed and I really think this is Charlie's BEST work. So proud and can't wait for "That's Not How This Works." P.S. The moments where Charlie literally YELLED terrified me... felt so real and we know it came from a personal, dark experience for Charlie. And the songs from that album connected a lot of us with our own past as well. This video really hit hard. Just wanna say thank you for being the best artist out there. I remember in 2019 when Charlie went on Wired and he said that he thinks that he's a horrible actor. I hope that he now realizes that he was wrong, because this short film is amazing. Both Charlie and Sabrina are great in this. All love to Charlie and I can't wait for the song to release.
I’ve watched this a million times, and I notice something new or add more meaning every time. the latest meaning to me is that the charlie playing the tapes is actually a metaphor for charlie’s brain involuntarily playing these memories over and over again and being frustrated with the way things ended, so he becomes upset with both the good and the not so good memories. and the acting was just phenomenal, the happy scenes felt so real and had a childlike innocence to them, only to be interrupted by yelling and anger, making it hurt that much more. and all of this gave us an honest little glimpse into charlie land, so thank u for putting urself out there you are so strong I love you so much

I relate so bad to this, my husband passed away during the pandemic, and the house felt like it had a memory in every corner, I couldn't live in it without losing my mind over the fact that he's not there anymore, so I had to move to move on. Oh my god this is beautiful. They got lost in the fairy tale moments of their relationship which seemed to make them more susceptible to just breaking quickly, like their fight about his piano or something and the “i cant do this anymore” “i know”. Just my opinion tho, and sabrina and Charlie’s acting was amazing, especially charlie!! Sabrina was amazingggg acting that fight and manipulating him like that, it felt so real and mean. And hes covered in tapes at the end, really good film

As an actor, Charlie knocked it out of the park. It's a raw portrayal without being overdramatic. Sabrina did amazing as well, but she's a professional actor unlike Charlie so I wasn't that surprised. But Charlie did amazing for someone who's not even an actor

I am currently going through heartbreak from my relationship which ended just under 2 weeks ago. It was a wonderful relationship filled with love and happiness but we came to a cross road and decided it was time to take different paths. All the memories displayed in this video also occurred in my relationship so watching it really hit me. I am currently in tears writing this but reassured by the fact that everyone goes through things like this. I have been struggling with trying to not replay all the little snippets of my relationship, good and bad, so seeing another person doing it somewhat soothes me. To anyone going through heartbreak, it is never nice but you must focus on yourself and keep moving forward and know that there are great things around the corner waiting for you ! thanks Charlie, amazing story and song :)

For some reason this 6 min masterpiece truly depicts how a relationship can take you to the highest of highs, and yet- still leave you with picking up the pieces.
This hit home for me. It will define you ultimately. Whether a scar or beauty mark, moments like those create character and bring life to whatever you’re chasing next. It’s okay to cry to heal and repeat. But I’ve found that one day you will realize that it no longer has control over you, and you will be thankful for who you became because of it.

Oh my god this is beautiful. They got lost in the fairy tale moments of their relationship which seemed to make them more susceptible to just breaking quickly, like their fight about his piano or something and the “i cant do this anymore” “i know”. Just my opinion tho, and sabrina and Charlie’s acting was amazing, especially charlie!! Sabrina was amazingggg acting that fight and manipulating him like that, it felt so real and mean. And hes covered in tapes at the end, really good film

As an actor, Charlie knocked it out of the park. It's a raw portrayal without being overdramatic. Sabrina did amazing as well, but she's a professional actor unlike Charlie so I wasn't that surprised. But Charlie did amazing for someone who's not even an actor

I am currently going through heartbreak from my relationship which ended just under 2 weeks ago. It was a wonderful relationship filled with love and happiness but we came to a cross road and decided it was time to take different paths. All the memories displayed in this video also occurred in my relationship so watching it really hit me. I am currently in tears writing this but reassured by the fact that everyone goes through things like this. I have been struggling with trying to not replay all the little snippets of my relationship, good and bad, so seeing another person doing it somewhat soothes me.
To anyone going through heartbreak, it is never nice but you must focus on yourself and keep moving forward and know that there are great things around the corner waiting for you !
