I'm liking the new style of editing, well thought out and far higher quality put together video. Have always wanted to visit Vancouver Island! Thanks for showing me around!
Great video! As a happily married wife and a mom of two, solitude is highly treasured. All the moms I know feel that way. Doesn’t mean I don’t love spending time with my husband and kids.
Love this video! After you said all the walking and steps you are getting in and then you were tired after pedaling so far, I decided I better get off my derrière and go exercise. Can't wait for your next video.
Thank you so much Jen! You did a great job on this solo video! I knew you could do it. You went to great places. Vancouver and Washington. That’s big! The scenery was Beautiful in both places. Loved the Garden that looked nice. You food in Canada looked good sorry your pizza wasn’t that great. Sorry you didn’t end up feeling well after the bike ride. That was a nice bike ride you took. You did a great job! Can’t wait until the next adventure you go on. I’m there Jen with you all the way! See you soon! Love you Jenn!
This was a good video. Don't worry about the tripod shots and/or going places you don't want to go. Honestly, seeing flowers doesn't do it for me either. :) The only critique I have is that I would have wanted to know more about the amenities of the hotel you stayed out. The room looked very nice. Stay safe!
I loved the video. You are great at editing and look forward to more of your videos. Btw, you are beautiful and confident and gave me inspiration to travel solo.
Loved the video. I grew up on Vancouver Island (Nanaimo) and went to University in Victoria. It was nice to see some of the old places. Too bad you didn't get a chance to travel further north on the Island. Lots to see and do up there.
What a beautiful place to grow up! Im already thinking about taking another trip where I can explore more of the island. Maybe even renting a van and camping cause I saw a ton of RVs on the road.
I give you a lot of credit for traveling solo Jen. I don’t know if I could do it or want to do it alone. I think I would be a little scared and lonely lol.. Such a beautiful place! Thank you for taking us along ❤
I get that! I don’t think I’d ever want to travel solo for all of my trips. You’ll see I’m still doing travel with Wil. But the solo trips sprinkled in are fun and I feel like I really grow as a person from being able to travel alone.
Awesome video, I am a bit older but my question is did you happen to notice if the botanical garden was handicapped accessible? Oh and btw the town you were headed for was pronounced squim like swim with a Q weird right ! Love how that trail goes to Port Townsend! Cider is yummy!
I did not notice if it was handicap accessible but I believe I saw a lot of ramped areas so I think you could access a lot of the gardens with wheelchair
Sequim, pronounced "Squim" most town around the area that you were in, have Indian names after the local tribes. Seattle was named after Chief Sealth. Glad you are having a good time, stay safe.
Well, Jen, you were just West of where I live on Whidbey Island. WA State has so many bike trails like this. I'm hoping to lose wt and be able to start biking more.
I actually didn’t fly the drone for this video. I got some stock drone footage of the island. But my drone is the DJI Magic Air 2S. The gimbal is broken on it so I need to send it into DJI to see if they can fix it. Id love to take a drone pilot course-are there any you recommend?
The video was great except your voice is a little low so you might want to think about getting a mic that pics you up better. I look forward to seeing your next adventure/video. God Bless!
Yes I think that was on the third day right? That was with the Insta360 camera and it turned out to have a really bad mic on it. So hopefully won’t have that issue in the future 🤞🏻
I live on Vancouver Island (Sooke). Seeing the 'touristy' sights through your eyes was so weird. Butchart is a total rip-off (except at Christmas). I wish I'd known in advance that you were visiting, I would have provided a list of better (and cheaper) things to do and see. I'm glad you had an okay time though.
Right! It’s so hard when you go to a place for the first time to distinguish between what’s worth doing and what are the overrated touristy spots. I suspected Butchart was gonna be that way and I should have listened to my gut lol
Sounds like you didn't just break the screen on the camera but the audio was messed up too. It almost sounds like you're talking into a camera that is submerged in water.
It was the other camera I switched to after my main camera broke. It’s a little 360 action camera and had a terrible mic on it. Won’t be using that one again!
Good job! Enjoyed the format/length. Still “like” need to cut down more on the “like” repetition of “like” the word “like”. You’re too well spoken to sound like a Jr. High chick from West Hollywood. The “Do what you enjoy, not what’s popular” is the best travel advice. When you’re enjoying yourself, we enjoy watching. Besides to get info, we can always Google.
Imagine leaving your husband behind to go traveling to in your words " best places you have ever been" while he has to work to support your travels. Then he has to get home and cook his own meals, wash his own clothes, and act like a single guy because his wife has decided to travel the country on her own.
Yea….somethings up? I would be out of there in a minute, that’s not a good relationship. Stay tuned for the divorce. To me the best part of exploring the world is sharing it with your significant other ! I’m un-subbing, no family here !!!!
I could honestly see it to a degree .... I believe will and Jen worked together? Most of us do not work with our spouses. So yeah, time apart, there's definitely a plus if that's the case .... imagine being with your husband or wife, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No, thanks, LOL.
@@sdcraig glad it was heard which means she saw it. Based on the amount of likes and comments agreeing with me, I obviously wasn't shouting into the clouds.

I’ve been there!it’s so pretty. Especially for people who love flowers. Love the Victorian architecture! 😊
It felt like being in Europe!

You have the personality to do solo videos & your presentation makes it inviting to watch. Looking forward to your next video.
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Great video Jen ….totally enjoyed …luv the food tours too!
I'm so glad you enjoyed! Will definitely be doing more food tours in the future 😋
Great video. Brought back memories of our trip to Victoria. Your description of the Parliament building was spot on.
Great video! You did a great job
Thanks for the trip! On our “to go to” list. ❤
You gotta go! It was beautiful
Vancouver Island is on my bucket list. I MUST do the tower and slide down (I'm 70 years young). Thank you for taking us along with you.
Oh you have to! ❤️
Nice, Jen!!! I’ve always wanted to go to BC ❤. Looks wonderful!
It was stunning! And lots of fun things to do

Well done Jen!!

Great video! The videography is awesome! Nice job! I e-bike and do bike tours. Super fun - and yes you still can get a work out!

Isn't it cold there? Winter?
I was there last summer
@itsjenknowles and you just posted it now?
Was that the backside of the Empress hotel outside your balcony view.
Yes! That’s one place I regret not visiting
Very much enjoyed it. Ignore the jerks.
Thank you so much! I appreciate it. ❤️
Come on Jen. Show me all you can from super show please!
I’m not there this year! Go watch Matt’s channel cause I know he is recording a lot of the displays there

I see you flying the drone for B role Jen. I am a commercial drone pilot. What model do you use?

Are you guys related to Jacob Knowles? He’s that lobster fisherman that has his own RUclips channel.😊
Haha I don't think so but now I know what channel I'm looking up next!
@ It’s actually pretty cool, they make lobster fishing fun believe it or not 😂
Jen. Sounds like there is a slight issue with your mic. Sounds almost like you are talking into a box fan. Other than that. Fantastic video

Why??
I miss Will.
Awww you will see him next Sunday! He will still be on the channel a ton ❤️
