Im a McCoy.....Im going up there wit my young boys to CLEAN that section up of the McCoys..Im a landscaper and i plan on bringing my powerful back blower to clean them leaves up....yep...I and my boys are.
Yay!!! This is where Dan's family lives! Guess what? My great grandfather is Joseph Hatfield 😊❤ I didn't get to go to the Hatfield reunion this year due to the pandemic. You were right down the road from where Dan's mamaw lived. Many of his cousins still live there. The Hatfield's buried there are my family ❤ Nope... even some of the Hatfield's are buried in Tennessee. At least my part is lol the finger pointing up means the hope of heaven and if one is pointing down it means God reaching down for them... at least that's what Dan said. Thank you so much for sharing your adventure. We sure loved watching friends.
This is our first time in Pikeville. I really like it, I feel right at home! We're here so my father-in-law can get his pacemaker problems taken care of. He's already had a four-hour surgery to take the bad one out and clean up all the infection. On Tuesday they'll put a new one in and reattach the leads to his heart. So far so good but he's almost eighty and he's had a lot of heart surgery before so please pray everything will keep going good. Thanks and God bless!
When you went around the corner of the fence at 3:30, the tree stumps looked like dead people rising from their graves. It gave me a fright for a second!
Y'all are just adorable. You say the word bury the same as she did. I lovtl to ixx Listen to asourthern folk so colorful. Are you from mountai n of North carolina?
Well i use to lve of there and i never knew that they where buried of there as many times i had gone by. THERE mu uncle had of a store there just across the road of where you are at and of where the road went back to hospital and of the dairy bar its closed now she had been there for 20. Some odd years use to est of hot dogs there but someone i think took of it over but not of same was it thier food wasnt as good as hers was and of two places did she have of one there and other down at prestonbruge i think be so long i cannot remenber of it 40 some years now has it been of and of ALL new roads have they pput in i get lost of back there now so. Of a video was it i learned of something from it. I had of history right under my. Foot and did not know of it thanks never too old to lesrn as they say.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 y'all crack me up😂😂😂😂😂. How in the heck did they get people up there to bury them??? My goodness I know there was not choppers to fly them in back them. That looks like it would be so dangerous trying to bury someone there. Well I guess if it smells like cheese burgers and onion rings I would want to be buried there too..😳 I am probably kin to the Patterson, Parson, and Johnson's buried there. Heck I may be kin to the Hatfields and McCoys...lol. My family got around and some in not good ways..I tell people I come from a long line of coal miners, moonshiners, and EZ widers...lol.😳 The hand on the stone pointing up means the hope of heaven. It represents that persons relationship with God. The stone with the hand holding the Lily means hope of resurrection...It is a shame the graves are not better took care of. I just hate to see that. 😞 A RUclips channel I watch in Pennsylvania has been giving updates of a graveyard and mausoleum that has been completely abandoned. The roof has collapsed on top of the above ground crypts. It is heartbreaking. I tell my children to just cremate me because I know from experience that my grave will not be taken care of. But!!!!! Hey I just might change my mind if I can be where there is cheeseburgers in the breeze!!! Lol. God bless y'all for walking up that steep hill.
It's sad to see the neglect that old cemeteries Fall Into. My family's talked about cremation for the same reason you said. We are in Pikeville so my wife's father can have a damaged pacemaker and the infection it caused taken care of. He's had the first surgery to remove the old pacemaker and take the infected leads out of his heart, that one went pretty good. On Tuesday they'll put in a new pacemaker and will attach New Leads his heart, hopefully that one will go as good. So please pray for him, thanks and God bless you!

It's my understanding that at least two of the three sons are buried in the family cemetery in Hardy Kentucky, the old man moved to Pikeville after the hatfields burned his house in Hardy.
They are buried across the road from where Randall’s home was burned down by the Hatfields. It’s a private cemetery that only family is allowed to visit. Calvin, Alifair, Tolbert, Pharmer and Randolph Jr are buried there. Tolbert, Pharmer and Randolph Jr was buried together in one grave.

Nice video. Love the old history you find in cemeteries. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching 😀
I really enjoyed this fall adventure. Keep up your great work Kentucky Konnection.
Thanks!
Been fascinated by the feud since I was a boy. This was a very interesting trip!
We were in Pikeville for my father-in-law to get his pacemaker redone and we found out old man McCoy's grave was right next to the hospital.
I have always been intreaged with the saga of this feud. Thanks for the videos
Thanks for watching!
Went to school with many Hatfield's. Great people.
I got winded just looking at all those stairs!! Once again a great adventure with you fine folks!!
Thanks 😊

For those wondering what Mr. Bart Belcher's gravestone says towards the end of the video: "Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal".
Thanks for sharing. My mom was a Hatfield. You should go do a video on my great great grandpa, Devil Anse Hatfield.
I have been to Anse's Grave, steep hill to climb and no steps like these.
Thank you for another interesting video. Hope all is well with y'all and Papa Coyote. Prayers and God Bless 🙏
Thank You so much!

Greetings
At 7:42 you said that's somebody else. Allen Cline was Perry's son. Perry Cline was McCoy's cousin and a big part of the Feud.
The small ones behind the newer, larger one are the original markers.
Go check out Pippa Passes KY. Nice little college up there and there is neat stuff to look at.That is Dorseys Dairy Bar. Great hamburgers....
They sure smelled great!

@@hartmanpinson1826 Nice to hear. Thanks for sharing.
I wanna know who's been putting flowers on some of the graves
I wondered that myself.
There's still a lot of McCoy kinfolk in that area so maybe it's them.
The finger pointing up means the person has went to heaven and they wish for their family to look to heaven. That’s what google said any ways lol

Where are the 3 sons that the Hatfields shot. You should have research more
