Tips for Leasing a property

Whether you are a landlord or a tenant or whether you are moving in or moving out. You should always do an inspection of the property being leased or rented. And note anything that is damaged or worth noting in each room. . If there is nothing to note you should still do a written document and all parties sign it. I use the Move In-Move Out CAR form. As a REALTOR, this along with other forms are available to me.
If you are not a REALTOR, you can simply use a sheet of paper and label every room: Entrance, Living room, kitchen, break area, hallways, bedrooms(1, 2,3) bath rooms. Closets, balconies. etc. etc.
And most importantly have the landlord and the tenants sign the forms.
