Ur gonna take the picat then get fucked over wen u get to meps. The verification is bullshit, I had to take the full asvab after scoring 75 on my picat, then I scored a 35 on the hardest asvab without studying, now I can't even be infantry in the marine corps, on top of that, they made me open because of my vision. Once I get my consult, I'll swear in. But just be prepared for the worst at meps
Are you still in High School? Also, don't listen to all the BS, MEPS is literally nothing to worry about. If you have a bunch of shady stuff to hide it may make you sweat a bit, but it genuinely surprises me that people who are joining the MILITARY get scared shitless about taking a test and getting a physical done along with an eye exam. That's literally all it is so don't worry about it.

marissa u it took me a year and a half to finally swear in because I had surgery and then meps fucked up my paperwork about three times and then I needed a waiver for an allergy. I ship for recruit training on Monday. Wish me luck!
I’m an ex male marine and I never had the balls to ask a wm if they shaved their private areas in boot camp. I assumed they didn’t . You ladies also make a good point about being on menstural cycles. Those are good questions that no one is answering . Especially what if your on your cycle during the crucible and in the shower? WTH .
Another thing ladies is practice holding your piss. Drill instructors punish platoons by not letting them piss. I remember Black Friday we got our dis then went to the chow hall. Drill instructors told us to drink four cups of juice. So I didn’t even eat I just kept getting in line for more juice. First of all our whole first week after getting our d I s we were only given about five minutes to eat from the time the last person sat down. Then we’d go back to the squad bay and they wouldn’t let anyone make a head call ( bathroom). They’d say I wonder who the weak sisters are that are gonna piss their pants ? I pissed my pants after that first time after that I only drank one cup of juice per meal so the urge wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t let you use the head which was most of the time . Recruiters don’t tell anyone about that.
Thank you for the video I ship out the 14th, Papa Company. I have one question, I cannot do a pull up yet and can only do 15-20 push ups, do you think they will send me to FRP for something like that? I am afraid I’ll be dropped because of it. Thank you!
They will drop you to frp if you cant physically meet the standards. They will train you so you can do better they'll give you 3 chances to pass the IST after that it's a high chance you'll get dropped. But dont let that discourage you. Just keep on practicing the correct push up position. Do multiple max sets. Maybe even do weights to give your arms more strength or use the ammo cans

My friend went to USMC basic and they weren’t allowed to wash their hair until the end. I went to Army basic and it was much more relaxed. We could wash our hair every night if we wanted (though I don’t recommend it). It depends on the branch and where you go.

Manda A apply loads of gel, then comb it back to get the gel incorporated into all your hair, then perfect the hair, then apply more gel and finally hairspray it down and this should keep it from parting or moving during strenuous activities or at all! ❤️

You're only allowed to wash your hair when the DI tells you to, from what I've heard it's only once or twice a week you can wash your hair.
You can wash your hair when you want to, from my experience they don’t dictate what you wash and can’t wash.

No, but usually you can buy some in the shopette (Army, Air Force). USMC basic I’m sure they make them wash their face with leftover soap suds haha
