Parker was found underneath a bush, dirty, matted and unsocialized. Parker was scared of everyone and everything. He did not know how to play, who to trust and had behavioral issues. From the beginning, we said Parker can only be placed with an experienced owner, a person who can learn his ways, a person who was willing to work with him, someone who could give Parker love he probably has never experienced in his short life.
Parker is currently in a home environment with his foster dad, Karl, and he is doing great! He is still afraid of inanimate objects, like scissors, a broom or other things he may perceive as a weapon against him.
Parker has overcome a lot in this last couple of months and we are happy he is doing so well!
Patience, love and understanding are crucial in turning a frightened, confused, lacking confidence rescued pup into a pup who can trust again and let go the fears! ..

It is not his fault he was not ever touched or loved it breaks 💔 my heart to see this to the owner don't ever own any kind of animals u peace of crap I hope they can help him out in God name hope they can find a good loving family that will love him thank you again ❤
I took in a lost, starving, filthy wounded, foraging for acorns in the snow, completely feral, husky puppy... he was in a very bad way but didn't look for sympathy...but he got it anyway. He's turned into a loving happy guy now, housebroke in 2 days. Gained 12 lbs in 4 days then leveled off. Wound healed and now all he does is play, dig holes and chase squirrels. Been with me 6 weeks now.

Great story. When in Alaska, our Native tour guide told us that people don't find stray dogs. Spirits send us dogs we deserve. I'm not Native American, but through my life I now DO believe in spirit animals. And I do believe all my dogs have been sent to me.

I think I’ve always had animals and when you do have animals in your home , I think other animals, who may have been abandoned, see the animals in your home and think they can come and be part of the family too 😃😃😃

OMG!!! This is one of the worst cases of matting I have seen. Horrific. Owners should be ashamed of themselves. Thank you, most graciously, for his rescue, all the patience of the groomer, the foster dad in dealing with his emotional traumas, and finding the perfect home for him. Poor guy, having to endure lugging all that extra "shell" around on him. Thanks so much for finding him and giving him another chance at having a normal life!!!! That treadmill thing he does in the bed is hilarious!!!! So happy for you, little guy. You look awesomely handsome.......a very dapper dog!!!
What an amazing dog!! He's just sitting there. It has to hurt and be scary for him but he just sits patiently. I hope he found a loving home!!

That much grooming has got to be exceptionally stressful for the poor dog, no matter how necessary. The patience and care the groomer gave makes me want to cry.

For a dog who has had no socialisation, has trust issues and scared, he is remarkably well behaved. I watch a few of these grooming channels and this is the worst case of neglect I have ever seen. This poor furbaby deserves a good life. I hope they found him a beautiful new furever home. Thank you to those who saved him. 😘💕🐶🐕🇦🇺

I’m not sure but it might’ve been a third of his bodyweight … I won’t even say how many pounds it is for me to have to carry around, but it’s more than a backpack !!!

Crazy, disgusting, totally unacceptable. How this poor dog has survived I do not know. Someone somewhere is guilty of the most awful neglect, causing so much misery. My heart was breaking at the condition Parker was in when found in the park. I am surprised he wasn’t found earlier. He must have been on his own for most of his life, judging by the matting of his fur. He was so good while getting groomed. Quite surprising really. What a beautiful dog he turned out to be. I am so happy that he found his forever home and gets to live the life he deserves. Thank you to all involved in saving Parker. 😘💕🇦🇺

Eure Arbeit in allen Ehren, aber bei solchen Tieren sollte man ihnen etwas zur Beruhigung geben. Sie haben furchtbare Angst und verstehen nicht was mit ihnen geschieht. Ich sah auch schon Fälle, die in Narkose gelegt werden mussten um sie zu scheren und die Nägel zu kürzen. Nichtsdestotrotz, ohne EUCH sähe es für extrem viele Tiere noch viel schlechter aus. DANKE ❤❤❤

He had to be in the most excruciating pain for a long time. Imagine having your hair constantly pulled by each single strand with every move he made and the weight of the mats pulling his skin. Geez. Omg. Thank you for rescuing. After removing the mats, his skin is very sensitive.

Have not seen groomer change blades once. He must have third degree burns. Numbskull!!!
@@robertcurtis1033 Robert, he changes blades and checks them all the time. He does a wonderful job free of charge for these precious animals.
I was in tears by the time it was over. Hopefully a new patient and loving couple will give the time and training necessary for this sweet baby.

Poor little guy, he must have been in such pain with that awful restrictive matting. Considering he probably had no idea what was going on, he behaved quite well. What a dear little dog came out from underneath all that fur.
