🎉 happy birthday 🎉 .. kindly share about your first class..how did you introduce yourself in class as an introvert?

hello!! first of all, thank you for your birthday wish! 🥰
As an introvert, my first class was difficult but thankfully, I'm a very lucky person so most of the time, it's the people who came to me.. I've been able to be comfortable in class because of my brave classmates who came to me.. I don't really know the reason but I'm really grateful 😅
Also, in BLCU you can change your class during the first 2 weeks to be sure that you are in the right level of chinese for you, so you don't need to be close or attached the first days :)
I was not closed to the idea of meeting knew people so I was able to respond to the people talking to me. After searching my place in this class and few weeks/months, I realized some persons were talking to me but didn't match my values or were not the kind of people I wanted to be associated with.. so I decided to cut the tie with them and don't be close to them anymore 😕
But every time I was alone I realized that I was perfectly able to meet new people again I just had to be myself and enjoy the moment by taking the opportunities which were offered to me !
I think you just need to know why you are there and don't forget it ! ☺
If you want a little tip: most of the semester, I was bringing snacks for my whole class and sometimes also for the class next to us because I had friends there. Every long break I was proposing some snacks to everyone, even the teacher, and it has became a little ritual. With the time, everyone knew me and my snacks.. 😅and sometimes just because some of my classmate were with some friends from other levels I was also proposing them without disturbing them.. and they were able to talk to me comfortably even if we were not close!
So if you are stressed, you can bring snacks ! It really helps people to relax during breaks 😋
