We need Arcane Kitchen to be its own show Jacob, especially if you’re getting into Dungeon Meshi lol
Half of these are literal dares.
As someone raised in the 70s and early 80s, I absolutely knew tomato aspic was going to show up and that Jacob was going to go nuclear on it.
Spencer's face at 56:00 when she pulls out the uno reverse absolutely kills me
Jacob's mom is a delight
I literally eat a ton of this stuff still. Primarily because my mom still cooks like it's the 70s...
I evaded that destiny when my grandmother was so bad at cooking that my dad learned to do it himself 😂
Don't mind me just being here to enviously watch a healthy relationship with your mother.
5:54 this reminds me of that one twitter post that goes something like "whenever i drink milk, i remember my roommate who would mix powdered milk with regular milk so they could drink more milk per milk"
(also grape nuts are great but drinking powdered milk is like eating wet flour and calling it bread)
The cats have been awfully quiet since eating that vienna sausage....
Poor...
Poor never changes.
Not what I expected to watch today, but Jacob eating aspic is incredible television.
THERE IS A CAT ! I can’t see it to well but it’s black and fluffy
37:38 watching Jacob lock in for this is so fucking funny
90s latchkey kid here, my mom may have been a horrible alcoholic, but i did always have reasonable acess to instant mac and cheese and grape cool aid. Thanks, momma.
Pogblast? And we’re back in the kitchen? My excitement is so palpable it’s almost unbelievable!
Grape Nuts are good with real milk, sugar and warmed. Vienna Sausages are what you feed a baby when transitioning to solid food. It's not for regular kids or adults. I have Ding Dongs in my freezer and cans of fruit cocktail in the fridge. Tang was great... Beat the heck out of that Sunny Delight stuff. Love Triscuits. Pimento cheese is really, really popular in the South. You can get it at a lot of restaurants, including the higher end places here in Tennessee. Spaghetti-Os and Raviolis are awesome.
I used to love Vienna sausages while camping.
This was literally most of my childhood, besides a period where we ate nothing but fried potatoes for a month.
Yeah more arcane kitchen!
underwood deviled ham is FIRE!
War-chester-shire, very close, you guys ever seen smosh's eat it or yeet it, they did one where they rolled for dishes, think it'd it be perfect for you to do, especially with d&d foods
its actually pronounced wooster-shire which is honestly stupid
I was raised on a meal called shit on a shingle. Hamburger in gravy on toast. We ate it was times were really hard.
fun thing to note, a lot of awful food that was popular in the 50s through the 70s was food that had at one point been an expensive delicacy afforded only to the wealthy but then became available to the common folk who didnt have any experience with the ingredients and would just use whatever was available
which is a big reason everything in the day had gelatin and mayonnaise in it
I still eat grape nuts, because i like hurting myself
Oh man, as a Vienna Sausage defender, you gotta rinse those off. Don't eat the goo.
Or if you're over two... 😂
Its fun to share those kinds of memories. Even if the food wasn't so great lol.
15:11 The real reason for Jonestown - they weren’t cultists, everyone was just sick of Vienna sausage.
I will say, I still eat the chicken spread version of devilled ham. Makes great sandwiches.
The taste of sad making Spencer and Greg feel homy let's us gaze deep into how they grew up I feel. ❤ Good Jacob has a say in food now I guess. Event hough it let to 3 hot wing sessions.
Damn. Watching Jacob just shit all over my childhood (70s/80s kid) should make me more upset. But honestly? Yeah we ate some pretty rank stuff.
Mom's are the best
3 things milk should never be, instant, nonfat, and dry. I remember having that and hate it to this day
Grape nuts is 'eddible' gravel heating it up helps a little but its still terrible
So, exactly how affected by the red dye was Jacob after this episode was recorded?
Neat.
Podcast!!!
Fried Vienna sausages are p good, haven't dared to eat as is, tho
Honk shoo nap time 💤
"It's called Tang!"
Filipinos: YEEAAAAAH!!!!!!!
edit: okay might be talking too soon but just with the second item its starting to just feel like arcane kitchen tries average filipino food (diff brand but powdered juice/milk is just what we got) apparently modern day philippines is just 70s america XDD
sick

Interesting, I know this is not relevant but when will there be more chat plays BG3?
