SOLVED! Whirlpool freezer door pops open when shutting refrigerator door fix

On Whirlpool side-by-side models a machine screw at the bottom of the freezer door loosens and rises over time, eventually preventing the freezer door from lowering the correct amount when shut. May also work with other models and brands. Do this before replacing your seal.

Sadly my Frigidaire has a different mechanism at bottom of door. But still grateful to have found this channel

What did you use to get in that tight spot ?

I used a pair of needle noses pliers, but a small adjustable wrench should work too.
