I love PR, but what I REALLY love about PR is the countryside. I love the mountains, I love the views, I love the cooler temperatures, I love the fresher air, and I love the generally nicer people.
Thank you for sharing this video. I just came from visiting my dad in Juncos after 37 years and left a bit sad. So many abandoned homes and animals, and the roads are horrific. I pray changes happen soon. So many elderly people are without resources. Thank god for the fruit trees.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m not from Puerto Rico, but my wife is. And we go there very often. And the only we head to is straight to the countryside. It’s so relaxing and I love it so much. To the point we’re looking for our forever home out there. But your right there should be more vlogs of the countryside out there. Thanks again and I hope to see more
I was born in Ponce, but grew up in the mountains of Yauco. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about my island. I miss it so much and can’t wait to one day go back for good! Thank you for sharing your side of the country!
Me too. Born in Ponce, raised in NYC and live in Florida. But PR always calls 📞 😊 Hope you don't mind if I tell you to listen to "OCEANS" by Hillsong. I felt it in my heart. God bless you!
I can smell those trees from here. Dang. I wish i could go back to the mid 90s visiting family with my mom. I know going back as an adult wouldn't be the same. I heard everthing is wrecked and people are scummy these days. But i wish i could live in the countryside down there with peace and quiet, a hot cup of cafe con leche and crackers. That is probably a better life than being in the U.S at this point.
Fruit is a noni but it needs to be white when it’s ripe. If it’s ripe you can make a smoothly with noni and pineapple. It’s very tasty and very good for you.
Hola, I just subscribed to your channel and and have not watched all of your videos yet. Now having said that I live in Alabama (US) and was wondering if only English speaking gringos could communicate with the people of Puerto Rico and would we be accepted in the rural country side of Puerto Rico. My wife and I have chickens and goats here in Alabama and are thinking of a move to Puerto Rico and we would want to live in the mountains. And is life expensive there.
This video is really fasinating because ilustrates how the life is in the countryside of PR. Just to clarify something her grandmother mistakenly called the green fruit with the name of socato. The right name is Noni. As far as I know socato is a type of vegetables.
I LIVE IN THE CAMPO LA SIERRA DE VILLALBA THE BEST THING IS THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A CRIME THERE , EVEYONE IS FAMILY AND PEOPLE PRAY THE ROSARY 3 TIMES A DAY
