Welcome! I had a blast showing and explaining a bit about different fruits local to Puerto Rico (passion fruit, starfruit, quenepas, mango, avocado, guineos, etc). I wasn't able to find all the fruits I wanted for this video, but these were the ones that I had easily accessible during the time.
Some of my favorites that weren't mentioned are:
-guanabana (soursop), coconut, mamey, and corazones.

I can smell those trees from here. Dang. I wish i could go back to the mid 90s visiting family with my mom. I know going back as an adult wouldn't be the same. I heard everthing is wrecked and people are scummy these days. But i wish i could live in the countryside down there with peace and quiet, a hot cup of cafe con leche and crackers. That is probably a better life than being in the U.S at this point.

Hola, I just subscribed to your channel and and have not watched all of your videos yet. Now having said that I live in Alabama (US) and was wondering if only English speaking gringos could communicate with the people of Puerto Rico and would we be accepted in the rural country side of Puerto Rico. My wife and I have chickens and goats here in Alabama and are thinking of a move to Puerto Rico and we would want to live in the mountains. And is life expensive there.
