DIY Oil Change for a 2016 Chrysler Town & Country Van
use a flat type screwdriver and 2 sockets a 1/2 Socket and a 24mm Socket for tools.
I forgot to mention in the video to lubricate the "O" ring of the filter with a dab of oil

Good video. Changed the oil in my 2015 Grand Caravan yesterday. The benefit of doing your own oil changes is inspecting everything else while you're there. BTW nice toenails. LOL

Buddy, all you have to do is remove the plastic engine cover and use a shorter extension. ABSOLUTELY no problem!!!!!!

Hi, thanks a lot for sharing your video! 👍 I bought my Chrysler Town & Country 2016 just two weeks ago, so I do not know about it too much. But I'd like to manage to change my oil and filters myself anyway. My question is: (concerning reseting the computer) how can I turn thw starter into the first level, if I have a start button, not a key lock/hole...? Because everytime I press the button the car starts immediatelly... Thanks a lot for your responce. Jan

Sorry, I was referring to the oil filter socket size. I suck the oil out from the top using a vacuum device that requires my compressor.

My filter is stuck. I got the oil drained out and the plastic cap off of it but the paper filter won't come out. It spins freely but won't come out.

Please remember to run a bead of new oil around the new O ring on the filter cover before replacing.

Regarding your power steering fluid, check it again with the engine at normal operating temperature.

Video is pretty good but two things should have been poerformed....if you not have a torque wrench, mark the plastic oil cap with a marker at 12 o'clock so when you put the plastic cap back on tighten back to 12 o'clock which will give you roughly the proper torque rather than cracking the cap like this guy. Also after putting in 5 quarts of oil, start up you engine for about 30 seconds, which this guy did not do....check the dipstick and you will need to fill with the 6th quart, that is the max capacity.
