Bobby Darin doing this number like no one else can -- just lovely, thank you. I don't know who Danny was but I'm sure he would have appreciated this.

I have been very fortunate to have seen many entertainers. Thw two most talented an entertaining to me were ...
    #1 - Sammy Davis jr
    #2 - Danny Gans
both are now gone and our world while not being better now, was made much more tolerable with these two great talents ...
god bless both of them and their families ...

I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. Danny's corporate shows were a lot of fun to do and I'll never forget those days.

Thanks for this lovely tribute. Just last month I was walking past his new theater thinking I'd see him my next trip to Vegas. So sorry I'll never get that chance now. He had it all - faith, talent, successful career, brought joy to millions, and good looks. His sudden tragic death is strange and even more mysterious is why only one news source appears to be investigating the biggest news story in Vegas since the Seigfried & Roy tiger shocker.

Thanks so much PodQueen2 for this truly wonderful tribute. My good friend from seminary and I fulfilled a long time dream/goal when in the Fall of '05 we met in Vegas and saw Danny at the Mirage. Having been born in Vegas in the early 60's, I've always had an appreciation for great talent and without a doubt, Danny was the greatest talent in Vegas history. My favorite part of his show though, was when he sang about his family and his faith at the end. Can't wait to meet him in heaven.

I read today that Danny's closing song was not his usual, but "The Curtain Falls" by Bobby Darin, much to the surprise of his band. Perhaps he knew. Maybe it was pure coincidence. One way or another, I had to create this video in order to try to move on and to keep his memory alive. Gosh darnit. This one REALLY hurts! Rest in Peace, Danny. I can't wait to hear the band in heaven now!!!! Love, Laurie

I feel that God had him sing this final song; And maybe its just me but he seemed touched by singing it. I understand danny's manager was suprised by this final number, as he had never closed with it. Amazing.

I read several VERY interesting news snippets last night about Danny. One is that he finished a year long autobiography on Wednesday, the night of his last performance. Bobby Darin, who originally sang "The Curtain Falls," passed away suddenly at the age of 37 with heart problems. Danny did an interview that week with a woman and just happened to throw in there that, "When I die, you'll have the story of your career." Turns out that the gal's dad miraculously recovered from mulitple...

Hmm. I didn't know about one news source investigating. I sincerely hope that it was a heart attack and nothing more. The family had a private funeral for him yesterday. They must not believe there's any foul play involved, though why would they not know more during the preliminary autopsy? Hmm. Well, I'm really glad that you liked the video and I have to admit still being in shock over this. TOO untimely for one so diligent with his health.

I was so close to him and when I really had a shot at knowing what happened, the guy who was my source totally clammed up on me. I have wondered forever. Not that it will bring him back, but because it was just so out of character and he was so young. RIP indeed. =(

organs failing and he wasn't expected to live. Just as she got the news of Danny's passing, her dad was removed from the respirator and was in full recovery. She feels as though Danny saved her dad from the other side. Hmm... it just gets more and more interesting. Dan was either extremely aware of his failing heart or planned to check out? Oh, boy. Can't wait for those toxicology reports. One way or another, it's still devastating. =(
