Its painstaking to know this man was falsely accused and to what degree a lack of intelligence was used to finally figure it out. The justice system sucks but of course there are good people within in it. Thank God for this motherly woman who gave this man a lifeline and led hin through his dark days.
God Grace this man with a blessed life ahead. Amen.

These are the stories the media needs to tell more often - we have many, many good people in this country who are very generous with their time, their resources and skills, including apparently, the lost art of written correspondence. If our media chose to share more stories like this story we might find ourselves trying a bit more to get along with one another. We might find hope for our nation’s future.

believed in him, and helped him indure all
those years while in prison. God bless

They robbed this man of his entire life. This is so unfair. Yes, it's a beautiful story about someone believing in him, and maintaining a bond for all those years. That's so, so important.
How is the State going to repay this man for all the years of life he lost? They owe him for robbing him of his life, of his freedom, of his good moral character, of his chance to have a family if he wanted one.
Ugh, this make me more sad than it does happy. Thank goodness for this kind woman being a lifeline of hope for this man.

I’ve seen and heard about one tragedy happening after another a lot recently- this was a breath of fresh air and reminds me that there are still good individuals who exist on this earth. For however long that woman has left here, I hope they’re both able to connect even further. She is his guardian angel.
