If you ever want a semi-permanent long running series you could do "Life as a Treasure Hunter/Museum Curator" using the Legacy of the Dragonborn mod. It is extremely extensive, adds tons of new content, new NPCs, locations, quests, artifacts, etc
I opened RUclips with the express intent of watching something else. Then I saw this, immediately jettisoned my intentions to the forgotten winds, and eagerly clicked the video. Haven’t even watched it yet and I’m hype.
I kind of like the idea of the ending where he becomes almost like a restorer, he finds or gets broken, dirty or discarded things and restores them, kinda like how he is restoring himself.
It was immensely satisfying to see you eventually able to craft the bedroll. I’m all for adopting all the kids if that’s possible with a mod. Really looking forward to see where he goes with his life.
You could make teas, for your 'legitimate' profit, sell them to the inn keeper. Can you do anything with the cotton? Make cloth maybe? That way no one questions where you got the money😊 love that you have multiple series going, you're very creative
I absolutely adore the concept of this playthrough, I was genuinely moved when the character found the little girl sleeping in the bushes and it steeled his resolve. Thank you so much for these videos JW, they give me and others so much joy, as well as great ideas for our own playthroughs. Now excuse me while I acquire 7K Septims and beat up some undead for the Jarl so I can give a little girl a home.
Jacoby, receiving 5 septims from someone: "That's are biggest donation so far!" Ysolda, who gave him 6 septims: "Am I a joke to you?" Also the goal of buying the breezehome to adopt Lucia is a very wholesome direction for this series
as a begger i would be picking all the plants its not a huge money makers unless you make potions but theres money to be made to keep fed and sheltered even if just doing so in whiterun
It's really interesting way to play Skyrim, And there is a lot of ways to engage with the environment and people, and maybe you can do: beggar quests or something like that.
Ive just discovered your channel, I love the idea of role playing as various types of citizen in Skyrim, and looking forward to the series. Im subscribed.
A good mod to rebuild Helgen is called "Helgen Reborn." It has a decent storyline, you get to kill Thalmor, which I think Ingvald would enjoy, and once you have rebuilt the town, the citizens give you the central tower as a home (it is not child-friendly, so perhaps Breezehome is a better choice, if you intend to adopt Lucia). But it is a large mod, almost DLC-sized, so I'm not sure if you intended to take this playthrough that far. The inference here is that no one survived Alduin's attack, and a new faction of people come in to rebuild Helgen. There is another mod, called "Helgen Rebuilt" which simply restores Helgen to what it might have looked like before Alduin's attack. But you can't activate that mod until AFTER that attack. Once restored, Helgen becomes a place you can visit, shop in, or stay at Vilod's inn and purchase some of that mead mixed with juniper berries. The inference here is that some of the citizens escaped and were able to return to rebuild their city.
Great RP bro. Perhaps you should lighten the pockets of those obnoxious nobles? After all, it won't hurt them to lose a frivality such as a jeweled necklace.
I would find a thief story to be interesting. Time between crimes for heat to die down if caught, small tent/safehouse in a separate area if you get too bad of a bounty to continue in the city. It would be interesting.
i would like to suggest that the character you’re playing has schizophrenia and is unable to do honest work because of that due to his illegal substance and alcohol addiction because of his mental illness he became homeless and has no other option to beg for money
It would probably take some research to portray well, but if you're up for it, maybe PTSD is affecting his ability to hold down a job outside the army? Additionally it could be a way to impose restrictions on yourself if he has to avoid certain things and situations to avoid triggering it.
Hello i love this kind of videos ty for making them i have one question though is there a mod that give you bars for hunger and fatigue instead of the text that appears
As a beggar you could pick all the flowers around Whiterun to sell to the alchemist.... might give you a quick boost of coin to get camping supplies.... is that not okay in this play through? They are free and grow naturally. It is not work for coin if it is just picking unowned plants.
Hey not new to Skyrim but I’m new to modding but I’m not sure how iv watched videos and stuff but dose anyone have any easy ways or tips would be much appreciated
This comment is real talk, don't read further if you don't think you can handle the subject of depression Says that the character doesn't really have energy to be working an honest job, but then runs around whiterun all day. Then runs outside of the city to beat up an elk barehanded, skin and butcher it. Then stay up the rest of the night to make himself and a child a couple bits of rough bedding. To me, that doesn't seem particularly like someone who can barely get up to face the day. Don't get me wrong, I'm well aware that people can do a lot even if they're horribly depressed, but when I was at my worst, I could barely see myself getting up let alone doing so much. For anyone who may be even the slightest bit worried, don't be. I'm doing much better now and have gotten better at handling my depression. The thoughts accompanying it are almost non-existent now and I have never tried to make myself past tense.
Another depressed person here. In fairness, a realistic "too depressed to do much of anything" playthrough would be pretty boring. Like. Not sure how that would even work. Just afk for a while?
So, I just have to ask. When you say “Thank you kind sir.” Is that a deliberate reference to the accent changing beggars from oblivion, or just a coincidence?

Id love this oh man
JACOBY, DROP A LOTD PLAYTHROUGH AND MY LIFE IS YOURS
absolutely
Absolutely one of (if not my #1) favorite mods.
There's an alternate start mod for this exact scenario as well, making you guild master of the explorer's guild!
6:13 "5 septims! thats our biggest donation yet!" *3:08*
Ysolda the champion. Suppose she does get a decent amount of money as a drug dealer.
A goal of the series could maybe be to adopt all the beggar children with one of the expanded adoption mods and create a refuge/orphanage for them
I thought you were going to say adopt them and create a begging ring and make them beg for you to have passive income
@@SC-jq9og Haha I am here for that idea too, if that's somehow possible that would be hilarious 😂😂😂
An orphanage in Helgen.
@@SC-jq9og He could become Fagin from Oliver Twist
I said it before and I say it again: If you would worship the great Namira you would never get hungry again if you know what I mean.
Because of your pfp I read this with Fluttershy’s voice in mind lol
Like your mom that devours my meat
I never noticed she just sleeps in the bushes before! Poor thing…
Same here, I know it's just a game but man that hit me in the feels.
Everytime I think “where’s Jacoby??” You upload a video within a day. I needed this man! Thank you for another BANGER video
Always puts a smile on my face when I see another video of yours. Well done, and thanks for your time.
Couldn't agree more.
I enjoy this already. Don't feel the need to rush this series. Take it nice and slow. Watching this to relax after all. :)

Best notification ever!! Your beggar RP's are the best!
Thanks! :)
Your videos are my favorite comfort series. They are so cosy and they make me laugh
Is this a young upcoming wretched going to usurp Rat king's begging empire?!
👀
I love that he’s found such a fitting purpose by the end of the episode. ❤️

If you're using realistic needs and diseases (which I think is your go-to needs mod?), you can drink from the well by crouching when you activate it.

Honestly I could watch you make infinite Skyrim playthroughs Skyrim never dies
your adventures are always so spiritual and meditational despite the characters experiencing life completely phisically if that makes sense.
Another great start to another great series! You are awesome!
Ahhh... old good Skyrim with mods. Reminds me how I once played as dunmer refugee in Windhelm with survival mods on 😅
What a noble goal, I'm excited to see his journey to change the status quo
Would love to see more of this!

I love series like this!! Thank youuuuuu!
Yay new series! :D
Back to the early days, always good to see, still waiting on a new necromancy play through with modern mods though
This was awesome think you should use your profits as a tea merchant to rebuild helgen
Love to see a life as a rogue build
See, a guild would organize a rota of good begging spots so everyone gets good turf. Don't see why Bards get a guild when Beggars clearly need one.
Skyrim life, live as an orphan with grelod the kind
I would find a thief story to be interesting. Time between crimes for heat to die down if caught, small tent/safehouse in a separate area if you get too bad of a bounty to continue in the city. It would be interesting.
I think the eventually restoring helgen idea is intresting. It would be a long journey though
Hopefully, the hired thugs won't be too rough on our begger friend!
It would be slightly more immersive if there was a low percent chance that an NPC will give you a loaf of bread instead of coin.
considering how good you are at doing live commentary, have you ever considered streaming?
Yes! I really want to stream, just need to set it up and find the time
6:10 She looks like a vampire with those eyes
If there is a mod where you can rp a pugulist and you challenge people to a fight for money.. That would be the dream lol
25:29 okay the uncle iroh lol
I'm a huge fan of the modes you use could you post them. Like in your other videos so I can play along. Thanks for making Skyrim fun again.
Maybe he should aspire to build a grand mansion and have a wife is he is going to adopt a child. You should also adopt the girl in Windhelm.
I would love if he decided to adopt all the homeless kids and help them
Same.
"that would be a nice water source" sewage:
you should be able to master speech-craft at lest for this challenge
i would like to suggest that the character you’re playing has schizophrenia and is unable to do honest work because of that

I want to place a resounding vote on opening a tea shop.
It would’ve been a cool little feature you never use if when your totally broke you can beg
Love you're Stream
