The game started at 02:30 here. Set my alarm and watched it live! You girls are our hero’s! Santarelli is a great coach and he made me very proud when he said "we are Türkiye"! Она играет за Фенербахче, я буду болеть за Фенер, она играет за сборную, я - болельщик сборной Турции. В этом году, несмотря на нелегкий сезон, она играет за сборную с самого начала VNL, хотя многие авторитетные игроки берут дополнительное время для восстановления.
В финале желаю удачи турчанкам. Очень неудобное время финала для моего часового пояса, но буду смотреть ради Эды😊.

Да, открыла для себя турецкий волейбол 2 года назад во время VNL и была влюблена в эту команду и болею за них с того времени, наблюдаю за турецкой лигой и женским волейболом в целом. Тоже болею за Фенер. Еду люблю не только за ее достижения, но и за человечность, каким капитаном и спортсменом она является. Для нее все турки говорят: "приходили и уходили разные капитаны, но никто не любим как ты". Не смотря на свой возраст и не очень крутой клубный сезон, она отлично играет в нацкоманде

American here.. Turkiye played an amaaaazing match and their energy was next level!! Congrats to them and I hope they win gold. USA's energy was nowhere to be found during the first 2 sets and Karch should have played O'Neil and Thompson the entire time. They only got their rhythm once Karch put them in, but it was too late.
Yeah i wondered why he didn't sub them right away when they were already struggling haha

Maaf sebelumnya kalau saya berkomentar bisa menyinggung hal yg sensitif, untuk kemajuan indonesia, lihatlah turki mereka negara muslim, tetapi tidak satu pun bermain dengan hijab, sementara tim nasional indonesia yg jaman skarang hampir semua berhijab, maaf saya bukan anti hijab, maaf saya bukan membahas masah agama, tetapi dalam voliball pergerakan pemain itu sangat tinggi bisa jadi overheating atau pemanasan suhubtubuh itu sangat mempengaruhi stami dan ketahanan tubuh, dan juga menggangu kelincahan dan fleksibilitas pemain. sebolehnya memakai pakaian yg setipis mungkin, dan terbuka untuk mencegah overheating, ...tetapi tim nasional kita sebagia besar berhijab, tangan dan kaki terbalut ketat memungkinkan overheating, bagaimana mencapai kemampuan maksimal?.....sekali lagi maaf saya bukan mempermasalahkan agama atau hijab, tetapi kalu keinginan anda menyamai kemampuan turky, ya lihatlah turky mereka juga muslim tetapi tidak ada satupun yg main voli pake hijab

Turkiye fought well from the very first point while USA was still half asleep. The USA serve reception was so poor especially in the first set that they basically gifted the set to Turkiye. USA had two of the best offensive middle blockers, but they didn't even use them in the first set. This makes it so much easier for Turkiye to read their attacks and Turkiye is one of the best blocking teams. They basically cornered themselves from the very beginning. USA was close to winning the 4th set, but they made too many errors. Santarelli made a great choice to sub Derya and Cansu in during the match. I don't think the USA coach made the right choices on who should start the match. Ali Frantti made some impressive digs to save USA in the 3rd set. I can't wait to see how she plays in VakifBank. Vargas will finally meet her Chinese teammates in the final tomorrow. Congrats and good luck to Turkiye!!
Wow, until I see a comment saying the facts of the match and not only being a fan of some team, between the coaches' duel it was easily won by Santarelli, in fact even in the 3rd set interview he said that the USA had many options on the bench and Kiraly never used it, the setter was under a lot of pressure and never made the change for Carlini, even for a few points to calm her down a bit, as you say, she never used the center attack and even when Frantti was in good shape she chose to go with Lanier , which in fact was the only one that the coach did not change and was the one that made the most errors in the entire game, it seems that it is the coach's favorite.. Very well played by Turkey but USA could have given a better game.

@@EduardoMartinez-ck2pkI agree. It was the first match I've seen live instead of after it happened. The USA got destroyed so badly first 2 sets and I'm say there like: you have such a strong bench, why not sub on some of these players and give the ppl making errors a chance to calm down and reset
Finally some comments from people who understand volleyball. USA couldn’t use middle players because Turkiye served very well towards end line and USA couldn’t pass. When that happens you have only two options: OH and O. Kelsey and Drews are not effective in non system high balls. So entire US system based on fast game and short balls collapsed. In situations like that you look at your bench and there is Frantti option and Karch didn’t use it for a while. Add to that You can’t win against Turkey in non system balls because they have the best middle blockers in the world
You right the couch didn’t put the right people to start the game, even they look very unprepared for the unexpected, I don’t know what is going on with the couch, Robinson, Thompson, Washington are not in the level they used to be and Drews has a terrible defense, Turkey deserved to win because was better in all aspects

Aunque los 2 últimos set fueron parejos y llenos de emoción,en el 1ero y 2do las turcas arrollaron a las gringas con Karakurt y Vargas como puntas de lanza, ahora con la cubana nacionalizada son más fuertes y tienen equipo para varios años porque es una selección joven y alta
