Wittgenstein's Mistress, Wittgenstein's Nephew... I guess Wittgenstein Jr. by Lars Iyer is next :)
There was a Thomas Bernhard book group here on booktube last year run by Channel of a disappointed man and the aim was to read a novel a month but I think after four months we wanted something more uplifting in our lives! Back in the 1980s I read everything by him and I think my top three would be Correction, Extinction and Gathering Evidence (which is memoir). Amazing author but the two you have read so far are the best places to begin!
That sounds great. Will be reading Correction next, and happy to get recommendations for a reading order.
Have you read any Ellison? I’m reading Living With Music, a collection of his essays. He also started in music and transitioned to writing.
Not yet. All I've had my eye on is 'Invisible Man', I had no idea he was a jazz musician. Definitely going to check it out, thanks.
