i dont comment on a lot of videos anymore, but just watching this, and all the talk of the old xbox 360 and all the aspects of old minecraft brings me back. sorry if this becomes a bit ramble-y, because this just feels so nostalgic for me in the best way possible. i had my xbox 360 for a very long time, and minecraft was my introduction to gaming. i remember that i couldnt update mine for some reason, and of course i couldnt look up how to do that, so i was stuck with old minecraft for a long while. after school, i had a friend in elementary who would ride his bike down every afternoon to play minecraft with me. we would start on the tutorial world, and once we were past the mandatory first part, we would completely take over the castle. Looting the bows, stealing the melons, the little room with the lava that had a music disk (i think?) in it. It was so awesome. Eventually we went back to the starting area, and dug straight down as a joke. But, we ended up finding a ravine, and set up there. From there we would goof around and just kill eachother repeatedly, making our base in the ravine with a side for me and a side for him. another memory i cherish is when i first found youtube. in all honesty, i think i found youtube pretty late compared to other kids. i dont remember how old i was, or the era, but i essentially got into minecraft youtube channels. skydoesminecraft, popularmmos, stampylongnose, captainsparklez, you name it. but i remember popularmmos had a series where they explored a theme park, and i then decided that i wanted to build a roller coaster. it was shit, but god i had so much fun. i would come after school and get on it immediately, and it was all i thought about when i wasnt home. i probably have more memories that i dont remember. but these are the ones your stream reminded me of thanks big guy.
