Wow....Your video is exquisitely wonderful...!! Music and pictures are amazing..!! Thank you so much for sharing this beauty. I added to my favorites. Light hugs. Sofía
Chidi Okoye and Elbe van Rooyen are the only names available. However, you could explore some interesting galleries like nespoafrica. com, creativestrokes. com, african-artshop. com and paintings. novica . com / west-africa.
On Yahoo, I found that the name ' Vimba ' translates to mean ‘hope’ in the native language Shona which is from the Bantu in Zimbabwe. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
You are wrong! The language they are singing in is Zulu! And Vimba means Protect in this context! There is only 1 Bantu language spoken in Zimbabwe and its not Shona, Its Ndebele which is a dialect of Zulu as the Ndebele people migrated from South Africa into the area. What you found on google was the Shona translation of Vimbai, which is a different language and contains and "i" at the end, which makes it a totally different word! My correction comes 7 years later! But i suppose its better late than Never! Hehe! Enjoy!
I really love this music and want to hear more male/female african chorus but don't know what to search for? Could you guys help me with names of the choirs/singers please? Many thanks! Adam
