It's poetic that Adam, the guy who built his entire personality around being a Manly Man, was killed by Niffty, a character based on a traditional housewife. Also, when he died he looked at Lute and smiled. Both Lilith and Eve abandoned him (which is completely understandable), but Lute stayed with him until the end. A small detail that gives him some depth. He's still a shithead, tho.
I am kinda curious if him being a mysoginist was the cause of Lilith and Eve leaving him, or if it was caused BY them leaving and he basically ended up just becoming an incel.
@@SF-ow9ymI think it was bc of the way he was created. He was created to rule and be on top over all creation. Every living thing had to bow before him hence why he is the only one who can name living and non living creatures. That’s why he says “Everyone should bow to him”. Lilith left him for Lucifer and Eve sinned when Lucifer gave her the apple. That’s why Adam went to heaven bc he didn’t ate it.
@@isra-el5745 Pretty sure he ate it though. They why both Adam and Eve were kicked out of Eden. So he's the first man to commit a sin, yet he still went to heavan. Interesting.
Sir Pentious went from the comic relief character to an absolute Chad in the span of 8 episodes. He kissed his crush, attempted to kill the first man on Earth, and sacrificed himself to save his friends, only to get clapped and get redeemed into Hevean. We will all definitely remember it for a long time. He was a real one! Oh, and remember when Niffty said he is not a bad boy? What a hell of foreshadowing.
@@tobsonasanya4765 I’m tired of being slap in the face with Daddy issues, How about go with Mommy issues this time, but then again charlie has been trying to find her mom for 7 years but she’s just been chilling in heaven this whole time
Also my headcanon for why Lucifer showed up at the end: Because for most of the time , Adam and the exorcists were attacking sinners, Lucifer couldn't butt in into the situation, because that was heaven's orders, but when Adam went directly for Charlie, his daughter, and a hellborn, he had every right to protect her, because that wasn't part of the Sera's deal.
Yeah, it did sort of say in the first episode that Lucifer gave the green light for the exterminations as long as his daughter was spared. I think it's because he was so devastated by his thousands of years of depression and fear from being cast out that he didn't put up more of a fight. But as soon as Adam went after his daughter the deal was broken and he was not only allowed to - but had motivation - to intervene.
@@theycallmebad I think it's part this, but also part that seeing them fight, and fight back, not because of hatred but to protect their loved ones, reignited his trust in sinners and the fact they can be changed. Hence the "sorry I'm late", it's not just "I'm late because I couldn't intervene", but an "I'm late because it took me a while to get what you saw". Meaning Lucifer is back in full force.
You're talking about Keith legendary David like he's some rookie, with how many years he had in experience he might as well be voice director for the whole show
I love the scene with Sir Pentious in heaven for a few reasons: 1) his redesign is nice 2) Sera’s wtf-face and Emily’s broad smile and happy squeak are priceless 3) most important: it shows that sinners can be redeemed and go to heaven
I wonder if in the second season, sera will try to stop Emily from telling Charlie she was right, or at least in the first episode, then she makes a deal with Charlie to get another sinner in heaven
Sera’s face was more horrified rather than just ‘wtf’. After Pentious came up to heaven, proving that sinners could be redeemed, Sera basically realized that she allowed Adam and the exorcists to go down and massacre a bunch of sinners each year for who knows how long. This was the moment she realized there was another way rather than just bloodshed, and the blood of countless sinners is on her hands
@@randomhuman4317 I think it might be more even than this. Sera's been keeping secrets, and those secrets are now showing up unannounced on Heaven's doorstep. It's only a matter of time now before it all falls apart. Pentious himself, by himself, isn't a problem. What he represents is. If he can be redeemed, why not anyone? Why not Lucifer? Or Eve? When Lute says Charlie is threatening Heaven itself, I think that might be what she's getting at.
Lilith is a coward, though I can understand her. You lived in heaven, with only one problem being Adam, you were offered hell as alternative but the only thing for you there is your daughter and husband, everything else in hell sucks and like Lucifer said most people in hell are sh-t (Ik he doesn’t think that all of them are anymore, but there was still truth in his word) So when Adam is busy and doesn’t care about you anymore, why not return to heaven under a contract? Sounds cowardly and it is, but it’s understandable.
But first of all guys we don't know what the deal she made to Adam there a lot of mysteries going on right now so we cannot jump to conclusion and not using the bible reference (which I already did that once in the other chat they bully me about it) so let wait and see season 2 about it
Personally I think she's just as much a prisoner in Heaven as any sinner is in Hell. A gilded cage is still a cage. Think of it. Adam is the quintessential toxic, abusive, manipulative jerk. It's fully within his wheelhouse to threaten Charlie to control Lilith, or even going so far as to use her as another way to torment Lucifer, both with the big reveal that she was actually "with" him at the time or by possibly forcing Lucifer to choose between Charlie or Lilith. And Lute is almost exactly the same, so it would make sense that she was in on it.
Fun fact!! During angels part of the fight where he saves the egg boi you can hear his theme song "slutty spider polka pop" by GOOSEWORK who made the Amazing Digital Circus!!
The first one banished from Heaven was an angel that took the form of a snake. Fitting that the first one redeemed back from Hell was a snake that gained the form of an angel. Also, I think it would be extremely hilarious if Adam turns up as an imp, coming from one the highest social standings in heaven to the lowest in hell just seems poetic.
Adam could only come back as a sinner tho, because he's a HUMAN SOUL, just like Alastor and Nifty and Angel and, well you get it! Imps are hellborn, Adam is a human, he was just the angelic version of a sinner
5:41 I'm just imagining Elijah's downstairs neighbor can hear this and is just like "Oh, some cartoon girls must have kissed. Good for her. Hope she doesn't flip another chair."
The fact that knowing Lilith has been relaxing at a beach in Heaven....not answering any of Charlie's phone call voice mails.... makes me fuming mad at them.
Honestly, I called it though. At first everyone always thought Lucifer would be the bad one so I already thought „Watch Vivzie turn it around.“ and I was sure once Lucifer was actually a nice guy. But for some reason I never saw the Vaggie being an angel thing coming 😂 I love that we now have Lilith as the possible bad guy
I very much suspect there is more to it. From what little we know Lucifer missed heaven and was heartbroken to be banished, but Lilith LOVED ruling hell. I suspect part of the deal may have forced her into heaven so she couldn't interfere with the purges. Which would give her a reason to send Alastor as a guardian of charlie and/or pride generally, in exchange for vast power. Likewise she may be prevented from responding to charlie's calls (and we don't really get any indication of if she's in contact with lucifer) It's also worth noting that attempts at blackmail in this/helluva basically always fail...like immediately. So Lute's threat may simply spur Lilith to action, but that action may be further war with heaven, may be lilith encouraging charlie rather than stopping her. Or...maybe it's what it looks like and lilith just abandoned her...hard to say, but it just doesn't feel like it fits with her character, what little we know anyways, and until we know otherwise I'm going to see lilith as a sidelined heroic character working from the shadows, rather than a deadbeat mom.
If you didn’t notice, when Alastor says “The constraints of my deal surely have a back door..” he’s pulling his hair, and once he talks about gaining power, you can see clumps of hair in his hands.
I think this is not the end of Adam, and don't say anything about angelic steel, I KNOW. but it would be just a perfect scenario if he would be reborn as a demon and then be redeemed in the hotel
@@karlesia You know, I thought about him potentially coming back as a demon, but I never consider him possibly being redeemed at the hotel! Damn, that would be a helluva twist!
@@karlesiaThat’s interesting! But if that happened, it would also mean the rest of the exorcist angels they just killed would be reborn in heaven too. Why would they be reborn as demons tho and not angels back again? Maybe because he’s changed for the worse since he died?
Everyone talking about Sir Pentious's redemption but no one talking about the fact that Alastor held his own against someone who technically is just as powerful as Lilith is crazy. I really enjoy how disgusted his eyes looked at the mere thought of almost dying in a way that would look like he was altruistically helping his friends. The voice actor and animators really nailed it, since we can see the Alastor's despair and keeping that aura of mystery that surrounds him since the pilot.
I mean, in all fairness “held his own” is a bit of a stretch. If we break the fight down, Al pretty much only hit two good shots on Adam which only really annoyed him while Al nearly was one shotted. Al’s only real advantage was Adam being uncoordinated and sloppy which let Al dodge most of the hits
"Held his own" is a mad statement. We clearly saw who was stronger here. Adam wasn't even worried because mortal souls just can't beat High ranked Angel. Only the 7 sins, Ars Goetia can possibly fight them. Possibly Charlie but not for now
Not so fun fact: Dazzle also dies when Lute cuts of his wing, we know this because we see a statue in the new hotel of him and Razzle is resting his hand on it.
yes, also dazzle's throat was cut@@rytsuryn surprised they could die at all though, I thought razzle and dazzle were familiars, not living creatures, and could just be re-summoned so long as their master remained living
@bryanmoberg8408 Lucifer brought then to life when they were just childhood plushies for Charlie. Maybe over time or just even instantly when he did it, they became real flesh and blood live creatures.
@@bryanmoberg8408Lucifer could probably make another one, but it wouldn't really be Dazzle. Much like the Eggbois, it's a little unclear if objects brought to life have souls in the same way mortals do.
@@bryanmoberg8408i have a very good explanation: Razzle and dazzle are construct, like egg boys, wich mean they are hell born, they were crezted to protect charlie, however why would she need protection from weaker creature ? The answer is simple, they were supposed to fight to the death in case angel would attack charlie why ? Because since the deal made between sera and lucifer said lucifer wouldn t act against extermination if they spared all hellspawn, lucifer couldn t act to protect the hotel, however, at the second dazzle died, the deal was broken since an angel killed an hellspawn, meaning lucifer could act Dazzle wasindeed the sacrificial lamb, the one that allowed lucifer to act despite the deal with heaven
12:18 “Is it weird that Alex Brightman is killing Alex Brightman?” Remember what Vox said in Episode 2: “If they don’t kill you, then do it yourself, you miserable failure”? Does that count as ‘killing himself’ since they share a voice actor?
13:50 - that's the reason why Carmilla told her to fight for what you love - Lute's line just made something flip in Vaggie's mind - she wanted to destroy Lute to save Charlie. She's definitely been "out for love"
*John 15:13* Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. Very relevant Bible verse. Not religious myself, but familiar. That verse immediately came to mind when he sacrificed himself.
There’s a theory that says according to the deal, Lucifer couldn’t attack Adam “unprompted” he allowed the extermination as long as he and his family were safe. When Adam tried for Charlie’s life, he violated the agreement thus allowing Lucifer to enter the battle. In this world, binding can sometimes be literal so it’s possible he was magically restricted from entering until the agreement was nullified.
It's not a theory, Lute tells Charlie in the first episode that the only reason she is even alive is because he asked for all Hellborns like Charlie to be exempt from being killed. They were only allowed to kill the sinners/mortals. When Adams mask glitches when he's taunting how he's going to kill Charlie I think that was singling to Lucifer he was breaking the deal.
It's part of why the exorcists retreated (along with Adam being dead) because now there was nothing stopping other Hell born turning up to kill the angels too. It's also probably why Lute is sending Lilith and not trying to use their defeat to rally a full extermination of hell because if Lucifer could defeat Adam then it would be pyrrhic at best to attempt to attack again when not only Lucifer but all the powers of Hell could get involved, only for more sinners to enter hell constantly.
@@greatmightypanda i mean yeah, imagine if they try again, and get to hell and get a moment of "oh shit... thats all 7 deadly sins... and they ALL have angellic weapons... this may be a bad idea"
10:03 genuine question, why do people underestimate Adam so much? He was literally the first human ever created, he's a angel, AND he lead a whole army of exorcists, what makes y'all think Alastor had any chance against him, genuinely for all we know he could take on almost every character that comes from hell except the royal family, and perhaps the seven deadly sins
That's what I'm saying. I mean, you see that Alastor has this great power for having been just a simple mortal, so what kind of power do you think the first human, who is an angel, has??
usually people that arrogant don't have the fire power to back up their showboating ei. the exorcist angels fighting like they can't die and leaving themselves vulnerable
I hope Adam comes back as a Sinner, He had some of the best songs and was funny af Also side note, at his dying moment when Lute turns him around he doesn't look sad or angry, he simply smiles at her
@@lazy_gamer5263 Alex Brightman is just too good in that role and the idea of him crawling to Charlie for help when all the sinners in the ring want to spend eternity torturing him is way too good a potential story hook. They'll think of something.
I dunno. As much as I love Alex Brightman and he did a fantastic job with voicing Adam, I don’t think we really need to see Adam again. That said, I REALLY hope we see Sir Pentious again
This entire season finale was a rollercoaster .. from Sir Pentious dying, to Lucifer's fight, to Nif just murdering Adam, to Sir Pentious being redeemed and to Lilith BEING IN HEAVEN AND RELAXING THIS WHOLE TIME
The fact Sir Pentious ascended to Heaven is actually so big. As we see, both Sera and Emily were there and, as their expressions show, they do recognize him since they saw him in the meeting in Episode 6 with Sir Pentious flirting with Cherri who herself was basically always next to Angel. Emily is there excited as hell because now she knows a sinner can be redeemed with their first success, plus that gives her an excuse to go meet up with Charlie and crew (with Sir Pentious in tow most likely) so they can discuss how it happened and what to do going forward. Meanwhile Sera is in absolute shock and terror which, depending on which way the story takes her character, she'll either become the next villain with her trying to cover it all up and continue to work against redemption, or she'll go through a crisis doubting everything she knows wondering if he is just a fluke in the system or if the system she thought was true was a lie, but either way its going to be entertaining!
I wonder if that'll be a great way for the other Elder angels to get introduced next season, especially since the beginning of Season 1 and Lucifer's/Charlie's More Than Anything song hints at them a lot.
Is part of why I feel for Sera. I think she knows the answer to how to get to heaven. And if my guess is right, I know why she can't say. The self realization that the horrible choice she made wasn't needed. Also, Em squeaks like Charlie
We finally got a Charlie/Vaggie duet and it's absolutely perfect. Those two are adorable. Also, mad respect to Sir Pentious. He kissed the girl of his dreams than sacrificed himself for everyone. This chad move will never be forgotten. And I'm glad he proved Charlie right. That a Demon CAN be redeemed into Heaven. A snake was the first soul to fall, and the first soul to rise. Very poetic.
saw someone say lucifer isn’t an ex machina in the battle but was actually discreetly waiting for a hellborn to be attacked (esp keeping a protective eye on charlie) so he can jump in without breaking contract
And Razzel or Dazzel? One of them died because of fucking Lute, adding to what you heard AND! Like Lucifer said “Usually I charge a sacrificial lamb” and when does he appear? After one of the two was killed.
razzle and dazzle arent hell borne, they were toys that lucifer brought to life to protect charlie. sure it dying was probably a signal to lucifer that something was wrong but he didnt interfere until after Adam was about to kill charlie, objects brought to life dont count, if they did then the eggs would have counted when the angels smushed them@@dc1054
@@dc1054 I'm curious if their deal was specifically you cant KILL a hellborn, so even if Charlie or whoever got injured he wouldn't be able to step in, but since R/Dazzle died he was able to step in as soon as he got there. Wouldn't really change anything if it was injure instead of kill but it'd be an interesting stipulation
Several things about this episode: 1. Charlie did not get the Family Rate. RIP Dazzle 2. Both Arackniss and Baxter are now canon. Fingers crossed they become part of the Season 2 cast. Now we just need Crymini to make an appearance. On a side note, we can officially sink the “PentNiss” ship now (Sir Pentious and Arackniss). 3. We may see Niffty have a bigger role in Season 2. Vox was staring at her interviews. 4. There was a picture of Alastor ripped in half. We see a snippet of Vox right beside him. Hopefully, we get more background on their past. 5. Based on the new hotel design, it seems like Lucifer will be moving in and having a bigger role next season. 6. Both Charlie and Sera briefly mentioned the decision to start exterminations. We still need to know the full story on how this started in the first place. Who was part of the discussion? Who drove the discussions and final decision? And will Sir Pentious be able to tell Charlie and the rest that redemption worked? 7. Lilith has been in Heaven this whole time. There’s lots to unravel on that, but I’m still convinced she and Alastor crossed each other’s paths in the last 7 years. If so, Lute seems to be in the dark about this. Even Adam didn’t recognize Alastor.
To your note on Nifty being a bigger character next , this episode went out of its way to show her relationship with Alastor (sibling-esque). That plus the fact that Husk used to be an Overlord (and there was an Overlord that looked a lot like Nifty in the pilot), I wonder if they'll reveal that Nifty also used to be an Overlord but honestly didn't like having all that power so she gave it up to work for Alastor.
If u didn’t realize all through the finale song husk was happy until Alastor came out of no where because he though that Alastor was dead but he wasn’t so the contract isn’t off
Swearing at Lucifer opened Pandora’s Box for Alastor, and I’m so glad it did. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have badass moments like “I’m about to _end your FUCKING LIFE_ .” Priceless
@valentinkambushev4968 some people just got that thing with their stories they are either good at, or it's taken from their own experiences Like M.Night Shyamalan with Twist endings.
My personal choices for the Top 10 Most Evil Hazbin Hotel characters: 1) Valentino (obvious first choice, do I really need to explain?) 2) Adam (10,000-year-old man-child) 3) Lute (psychotic bloodthirsty self-righteous pathetic hypocrite) 4) Velvette (something tells me her hubris will be her downfall) 5) Vox (of the Vees, I'm most interested in him getting a redemption, but I'm not putting much stock in that) 6) Alastor (redeeming points aside, he's still done some MESSED UP things, and very possibly doesn't actually care about Charlie and the others) 7) Mimsy (unrepentant troublemaker) 8) Sera (for her hypocrisy, cowardice, stubbornness and for approving the Exterminations - though I am hopeful that she will get her own redemption) 9) Susan ("Susan.") 10) Lilith (she's only on this list due to the ambiguity of her situation; as of now, her morality can go either way)
19:20 reason for the alastor altruist thing was because he didn't want to be remembered as an altruist who died saving his friends, when in reality it is because hes forced to help them and is only there to get out of his deal, in reality he does not care about them (altruist meaning; One who practises altruism; a person devoted to the welfare of others: opposed to egoist)
@@Commander_Appo Because (I found this out from watching Morgan or Mosco's reaction right before this - I'm watching them together) the subtitles/captions capitalized Altruist (Also idk why people kind of react like that part wasn't in quotes and he was dying after saying he just barely escaped death -- like you don't need captions to see it-- anyway see y'all in the S2 comments section)
I know some people are saying he's talking about the apple, I would argue the immediate hip thrust and bow chika bow wow implies more. Also the idea that two women MADE for Adam immediately left him upon seeing Lucifer is funny to me.

Something I wanted to bring up, a lot of people questioned why Lucifer took so long to show up. In the first Episode, Lute mentioned that Charlie was lucky that Lucifer had ensured that all hell born demons were spared from Extermination Day, which includes Charlie. So, perhaps because of that deal, Lucifer could only begin to make his way to the battlefield after Charlie and Adam started to fight and Charlie began to actually take damage
@@spider_fan_boi Ep5 first song, "Usual I charge a sacrificial lamb" Dazzel being killed right before he showed up. Context Razzel and Dazzel were stuffed animals that Lucifer brought to life to protect and help care for Charlie. Meaning that lucifer may have a connection to them.
Just shows how starved we are for good Sapphic relationships in media, that the first kiss between a Sapphic couple, who have canonically been together for years at this point, is this good and cathartic XD
Lilith is most likely the one that drove Lucifer and Charlie apart, making Charlie think that Lucifer is too busy to care about her but in reality Lucifer missed and love her daughter very much, she most likely didn't want lucifer to catch up with her plan.
I don't want there to be a wedge because I want just one happy family. Even in a divorce. We have been wandering what Alastor deal has been, but now we got the Lilith / Adam deal to think about. If Lilith was making an army in hell to face heaven orginally. Heaven wouldn't like that and a threat on her family and/or all hellspawn could have made her into making one. Because we know from Ep1 that Hellspawns have a pardon from being killed. Not knowing if that pardon is from a deal or from the Heavens not seeing them as they do sinners.
So there have been a SHIT ton of theories as to why Lilith was in Heaven this whole time and not taking any of Charlie’s calls and supposedly kept Charlie away from Lucifer which ultimately led them to separating. The best one that I’ve seen so far is this one right here: ruclips.net/video/6YcHqg35DZk/видео.htmlsi=k6-Y8TiDcbdKK7Ov if you’re curious, I HIGHLY recommend checking it, because basically the video explains that what Lilith did was definitely not right at all, it actually doesn’t paint her to be a “villain” I think at best, Lilith will be an antagonist, because like I said, what she did was absolutely wrong, and Charlie and Lucifer will be undeniably pissed when the find out where she’s been all these years, BUT, the videos does explain a VERY logical reason as to possibly why Lilith did what she did.
That war was absolutely crazy. Especially when Charlie started showing her true power and Lucifer showed up. This really gives an idea of power scaling. Alastor had a distinct technical advantage, but the power differential was simply insurmountable. And Lucifer just played with Adam like he was a ragdoll, but when he got serious about protecting Charlie, really is the strongest being Hell. Lucifer is by far the best character in the show ngl.
About that detail Angel mentioned to Cherri, reptiles like snakes do have two of those, so Sir Pentious being a snake-based demon would in fact follow that logic.
I love how Lucifer goes "Not this guy again" When Alastor reappears, the beef aint stopping lmao I cheered when I saw the apple design on the hotel, because that should mean Lucifer is gonna a be a constant character. Dazzle's death made me really sad, especially with the way Razzle looks up at his statue. T^T
3:44 I want to see a Husk vs Val scene were Val is bragging about how he owns Anthony/Angel and how no one can change that and Husk just goes "You know, I was an overlord too. I just got unlucky and gambled against someone stronger. How strong do you think you are Mothy" and just starts breaking him down.
well, that would not be a smart choice. Scenario 1: Husk gets badly hurt, or dies because of Val, as Val *is* an overlord and husk just *was* one. Not only would that mean that husk is hurt, but what do you think would happen to Angel after that fight? Scenario 2: Val does lose to Husk, which would probably break the contract, but, if he lives, hes still a very powerful overlord with alot of power and would be able to take them out over time, and even if he does die, Vox and Velvette are still there, who won't be so happy that their collegue died. While I do get what you mean, there is just no realistic way I can think of which would cause anything good out of it-
Seeing Lucifer go from masterfully shit talking, to ultimate power mode is simultaneously sweet and terrifying. You don’t mess with the King of Hell’s _daughter_ .She gave him the will to dream again. If that really was Lilith, she can stay on the beach. The great father/daughter duo can handle saving Hell.
Besides fricking with the daughter of Lucifer, Adam messed up three things: 1.Very first episode, he said he never made a single mistake, the opposite of what to do to be redeemed, and that along with all of humanity, the original sin came from him eating the apple 2. He tried to kill a Hellborn(Charlie), rendering Lucifer's deal with Heaven's excorsists moot and allowing him to intervene 3. Adam breaks the First Commandment during his breakdown( and maybe long before that); "I am thy God, thou shalt not have other gods before me" In summary, Adam had God, Karma, and Hubris working against him from the start
"More than anything" was already my favorite of the season, and then they add this perfect little reprise. I find it so sweet that Charlie shares this song with both her loved ones.
Intro: "My voice is kinda messed up, I did a lot of screaming..." Ending: "SO YOU WERE JUST A BAD MOTHER THE WHOLE TIIIIIMEEEEE?!?!?!?!?!" xD love your reactions so much! Al the best and hope your voice recovers well!
I've been binge watching your reactions to this show all night. Getting to this moment, 6:30. When those two finally get their moment together it just feels good. Your not alone in all that feelings. Its always good to see genuine feelings. Cheers.
Here's my theory about Lily... I think the 'story' Charlie knows is wrong. Lilith didn't thrive in Hell, she hated it. Maybe she thought she didn't belong there since SHE didn't meddle with Eve? Regardless, she couldn't get out without help. Enter Adam. He's a giant douche, was bored, wanted to kick some butt. The deal struck: 1) Lilith engineers an uprising in Hell, inciting the demons to threaten Heaven, so the seraphim have 'no choice' but to react. 2) Adam comes in with a solution: the extermination. Only an emergency would allow one of the seraphs to allow this, so Lilith's work was necessary. 3) Lilith gets a free ticket out of Hell. Adam gets his shooting gallery once a year. But, on the side, I think Lilith pacted with Alastor. Protect her daughter. Make sure the consequences of the extermination don't fall on her shoulders. For this he got power, and a relatively free hand to exercise it...until Charlie got into the hotel business, forcing Alastor to get involved with that as well.
I saw someone mention that part of the deal with heaven was no hellborn would be harmed, so when Adam harmed Charlie (as she actually was bleeding), Lucifer was finally able to step into the fight.
Or it could be that the perdón that we seen in the finale in the beach is not really Charlie mom, but, a doppleganger of her (a clone or even more crazy , Eva). Think about it and this little tip: if Charlie's mom was a good and caring person since the beginning of her relationship with lucifer to Charlie's early years, why suddenly have a change of mindset , heart and an important piece of jewelry that she would use frequently in all the pictures that appear in the series and art that the creator show us in her social media (her Pearl necklace) , it doesn't make sense.
Alastor losing to Adam was a brilliant way to bring home just how much of a threat Angels pose in this universe. We’ve seen Alastor. We know he’s now slouch of a demon and crazy powerful. If an exorcist can nearly end him then just how powerful are they?
Don't forget, Exircsits fighting with "reckless abandon". They believed they couldn't be hurt so they fight without their gaurds up and with no defensive equipment or armor. They're the equivalent of a giant gun with one use. Shoot. This is what we know for sure, a good enough stab in the right place from an angelic weapon is certain death for a sinner- or any demon for that matter. All of the overlords could be killed by a deep stab in the chest using an angelic sword or spear. It's just how it is. It's less about how powerful they are and more about their weapons and their invulnerability to anything but angelic weapons and power. Though Adam, could eb an exception, considering his weapon was blunt- and still nearly killed Alastor.
Razzle got his own statue! You can see it just seconds after the Sir Pentious portrait! Also, some things I saw and wanted to share. Sir Pentious didn't end up at the gates, he ended up with the Seraphim, suggesting that he has either become part of the hierarchy, or whatever being is mediating between heaven and hell was giving her a middle finger. You can also see Sera's face drop into sheer abject horror as she goes from confusion, to recognizing he used to be a sinner, to recognizing she KNOWS him from the feed in the court, to finally realizing how many millions/billions of souls she has exterminated for quite possibly nothing. Also, Sir Pentious keeps his snake like appearance, which "negative" animals are absurdly rare in heaven. he also keeps his signature red claws, suggesting that he is wearing his redemption, and you can visually tell who have been redeemed. Another thing. Alastor didn't "fight" Adam, he just toyed with him. We saw no big form, we saw no purposely lethal shots, we saw no signs of him actually fighting rather than slowing down (The chin shot was just teasing). This could suggest that whatever contract Alastor is on was stopping him from attacking an angel, or his "clipped wings" could be hinting that he is not at full power. We have seen that he supposedly topples overlords like childs play, so I really think we are seeing a power limited, action limited Alastor, and he very well could be the most powerful overload in all of hell. I mean, even just in the loan shark scene in Episode 7, he is as big if not bigger than Queen Bee and Ozzy from Helluvaboss, which are 2 of the 7 deadly sins (which are ranged as stronger than general sinners on average) So hyped for season 2 man. This show well surpassed my expectations on all fronts
Size isn’t relative to power, there is no indication that Alastor is anywhere close to the Sins and he has been confirmed by the creator to be weaker than Stolas. Also the giant form would’ve only made him an easier target, and the moment he was going into his more demonic form Adam broke his staff and hit him with a near fatal blow. Alastor was the more skilled fighter but the power difference between him and Adam was too big.
My favorite scenes from this episode: 1). First on-screen Chaggie kiss. 2). Adam getting his curb stomped and then killed by Lucifer and Niffty respectively. 3). Sir Pentious ascending to Heaven following his heroic sacrifice, proving Charlie is right: Sinners *can* be redeemed!
@@titanbombomega What if that's not Lilith but Eve impersonating Charlie's mom while the real Lilith is trapped in Purgatory where Eve having taken her form trapped her there.
Alastor has always had the ability to use his real voice, he also did this in the pilot episode and certain scenes throughout the season, it took me awhile to realize this but other people already knew this, Alastor was just in shock cause Adam had broken his staff/microphone
16:03 Plus - this Adam was made an angel after he died (for some reason).....but even though he's fallen this Lucifer was born an angel and technically still is one
Ok but nobody is gonna talk about the fact that Alastor, a simple overlord with a few shadows, has been fighting with Adam, the most powerful angel and survived? This deer is insane (like the song)
to be fair, Adam is also technically human. (granted we don't know if the angels are humans promoted to angel or not here, generally angels are separate entities entirely, and we do know lilith is surpremely powerful despite being human...so maybe she and adam (and presumably eve) have been altered in some fashion.)
I wouldn't say Adam is the most powerful angel. Leader of the Exorcists sure, which means he's likely the strongest of them all, but he clearly indicated in episode 6 that Sera was HIS boss, and there may be more than just one rank of power between them. One a rough descending scale of 1-7 (Lucifer being a 2, most Overlords being a 5 and most Sinners being a 6), Adam and Alastor were probably both 4's with Adam maybe being a high 4 and Alastor a low 4. It's actually neat that Adam got 4 fights, so you can use that to gauge power bit. Vs Alastor- Adam wins without much injury, but clearly has to work for it. Vs Sir Pentious- Adam wins pretty much instantly Vs Charlie- Unclear, Adam seemed like he might have won if uninterrupted, but clearly a serious fight. Vs. Lucifer- Adam loses. Lucifer isn't even taking the fight seriously and the moment he gets serious the fight is effectively over.
@@bryanmoberg8408 I think similar to how Sinners and Hellborn are both Demons, mortals do become Angels, but they probably aren't immediately as powerful as Heavenborn Angels.
Adam is a human who became an angel. That actually puts him on the same basic footing as an overlord like Alastor. The most powerful among the hellborn demons like Charlie and the deadly sins are more powerful than any of the overlords. Presumably the same is the case for the most powerful among the heavenborn angels, the Seraphim especially who Adam is clearly subservient too. Of course, I say Adam has basically the same status as Alastor, but he did have several thousand more years to consolidate raw power than any of the existing overlords. As... sloppy as he is, that's bound to make a difference.
Charlie throwing sparkles and saying "Sorry" to every Angel is too cute. I know that she's sweet, but there are times when she cannot hold back anymore.
Season 2 Predictions: 1. Lilth will try to kill Charlie and destroy the hotel to keep her place in heaven 2. Alastor is under Eve's leash 3. Husk will save Angel from Valentino 4. Emily will tell Charlie her hotel works by showing Sir Pentigous is in heaven 5. We'll meet Angel's family 6. The end of the season will have more demons wanting to get into the hotel once word gets around
i mostly agree, but I just don't see Lilith WANTING to stay in heaven. What little we know about her indicates she was extremely happy in hell. I strongly suspect there is more to it. (a recent interview with the show's creator also had her saying Lilith is intended to be a central mystery of the show going forward, indicating there is probably something else going on with her)
There was talk about Baxter, a fishy looking Siner, being a guest at the jotel but that he was shifted out because his occupation as an inventor along with Sir Pentious was a little redundant. But now that Pentious has left the hotel, perhaps he can come in to fill that role now.

It's crazy to think about
Yeah i hate him, entertaining villain tho
I am kinda curious if him being a mysoginist was the cause of Lilith and Eve leaving him, or if it was caused BY them leaving and he basically ended up just becoming an incel.

Also my headcanon for why Lucifer showed up at the end:
Because for most of the time , Adam and the exorcists were attacking sinners, Lucifer couldn't butt in into the situation, because that was heaven's orders, but when Adam went directly for Charlie, his daughter, and a hellborn, he had every right to protect her, because that wasn't part of the Sera's deal.
Lucifer negotiated so the Hellborn (including his daughter) were to be spared, yeah. Adam violated that deal so Lucifer could then intervene.
I think Lucifer got the green light to interfere when Lute killed Dazzle
What took a while, I thought he could make portals
@@theycallmebad I think it's part this, but also part that seeing them fight, and fight back, not because of hatred but to protect their loved ones, reignited his trust in sinners and the fact they can be changed. Hence the "sorry I'm late", it's not just "I'm late because I couldn't intervene", but an "I'm late because it took me a while to get what you saw".
Meaning Lucifer is back in full force.

I love the scene with Sir Pentious in heaven for a few reasons:
1) his redesign is nice
2) Sera’s wtf-face and Emily’s broad smile and happy squeak are priceless
3) most important: it shows that sinners can be redeemed and go to heaven
Charlie's 'little experiment'...
I wonder if in the second season, sera will try to stop Emily from telling Charlie she was right, or at least in the first episode, then she makes a deal with Charlie to get another sinner in heaven
It's like the grieving father crawling out of God's trash bin at the end of Devil's Carnival.

Lilith: Chilling on a beach

She's for sure enjoying up there
Lilith is a coward, though I can understand her.
I believe in Lilith I'm sure it's more then her just chilling
I mean, Alex Brightman already voices an Imp (Fizz) in Helluva Boss.
Nah man, he needs to come back as one of the plants of Stolas or something.. I think an apple tree would be fitting.
Makes sense as he was dressed as one this whole time
Snakes were always divine symbols, the whole deal with them changing skin is about evolving and changing and etc, so it fits!
Adam could only come back as a sinner tho, because he's a HUMAN SOUL, just like Alastor and Nifty and Angel and, well you get it! Imps are hellborn, Adam is a human, he was just the angelic version of a sinner

Razzle and dazzle are construct, like egg boys, wich mean they are hell born, they were crezted to protect charlie, however why would she need protection from weaker creature ? The answer is simple, they were supposed to fight to the death in case angel would attack charlie
why ? Because since the deal made between sera and lucifer said lucifer wouldn t act against extermination if they spared all hellspawn, lucifer couldn t act to protect the hotel, however, at the second dazzle died, the deal was broken since an angel killed an hellspawn, meaning lucifer could act

Also I think Lucifer fighting angels sent by Heaven could be interpreted as an act of war. He has to be very politically careful.

Do you think Lucifer is bringing his rubber ducks? XD

Something I wanted to bring up, a lot of people questioned why Lucifer took so long to show up. In the first Episode, Lute mentioned that Charlie was lucky that Lucifer had ensured that all hell born demons were spared from Extermination Day, which includes Charlie. Your reaction to the Charlie Vaggie kiss/reprise was the best I've seen. Thank you.
The best one that I’ve seen so far is this one right here: ruclips.net/video/6YcHqg35DZk/видео.htmlsi=k6-Y8TiDcbdKK7Ov if you’re curious, I HIGHLY recommend checking it, because basically the video explains that what Lilith did was definitely not right at all, it actually doesn’t paint her to be a “villain” I think at best, Lilith will be an antagonist, because like I said, what she did was absolutely wrong, and Charlie and Lucifer will be undeniably pissed when the find out where she’s been all these years, BUT, the videos does explain a VERY logical reason as to possibly why Lilith did what she did.
se era real lilith naqueal cena do passado, bem provavel
That war was absolutely crazy. Especially when Charlie started showing her true power and Lucifer showed up. This really gives an idea of power scaling. Alastor had a distinct technical advantage, but the power differential was simply insurmountable. And Lucifer just played with Adam like he was a ragdoll, but when he got serious about protecting Charlie, really is the strongest being Hell. Lucifer is by far the best character in the show ngl.

Scenario 1:
Husk gets badly hurt, or dies because of Val, as Val *is* an overlord and husk just *was* one. Not only would that mean that husk is hurt, but what do you think would happen to Angel after that fight?
Scenario 2:
Val does lose to Husk, which would probably break the contract, but, if he lives, hes still a very powerful overlord with alot of power and would be able to take them out over time, and even if he does die, Vox and Velvette are still there, who won't be so happy that their collegue died.

@@TheZero1312 yeah, like Eve. I’m thinking about that as well, but on the chance it isn’t Lilith, I put “if that really was”.
Besides fricking with the daughter of Lucifer, Adam messed up three things:
1.Very first episode, he said he never made a single mistake, the opposite of what to do to be redeemed, and that along with all of humanity, the original sin came from him eating the apple
2. He tried to kill a Hellborn(Charlie), rendering Lucifer's deal with Heaven's excorsists moot and allowing him to intervene
3. Adam breaks the First Commandment during his breakdown( and maybe long before that); "I am thy God, thou shalt not have other gods before me"

The deal struck:
1) Lilith engineers an uprising in Hell, inciting the demons to threaten Heaven, so the seraphim have 'no choice' but to react.
I think this is correct because Charlie’s story seems like it’s inaccurate
yeah that's sort of what i've been thinking as well!
It make sense in a way
I saw someone mention that part of the deal with heaven was no hellborn would be harmed, so when Adam harmed Charlie (as she actually was bleeding), Lucifer was finally able to step into the fight.
I mean, even just in the loan shark scene in Episode 7, he is as big if not bigger than Queen Bee and Ozzy from Helluvaboss, which are 2 of the 7 deadly sins (which are ranged as stronger than general sinners on average)
So hyped for season 2 man.
By the way that is dazzle who died razzle is lighter than dazzle😅

Alastor has always had the ability to use his real voice, he also did this in the pilot episode and certain scenes throughout the season, it took me awhile to realize this but other people already knew this, Alastor was just in shock cause Adam had broken his staff/microphone

And also half of it is crying holy fuck
Vs Sir Pentious- Adam wins pretty much instantly
Vs Charlie- Unclear, Adam seemed like he might have won if uninterrupted, but clearly a serious fight.
