    Thanks for the video, I have 5/6 years doing photogrammetry (Phantom 3, 4 rtk, Mavic 3E), but I feel that it is already necessary to take the next step to the world of "scanning with LiDAR", shout-outs from Mexico

    Nice video as usual.
    Maybe people should also know all the stuff behind the GNNS antenna like the Emlid, i peronally use the Trimble DA2 but i think you have to configure the coordinate system according with your area, maybe also the provider that send data to the Emlid and so on.

    I have a favour. Could you do the Canada drone pilots test. In Canada you need a liscene to fly a drone... 😫. Unless it's really light. And people say the course is hard. And it cost a bit of money. I figured it would be a good test for skills and would give Canadian viewers an idea of what it takes to start flying up here.

    Do you have to upload a DTM for terrain following for the Rock app or does it pull it from a database?

    Hey, Harrison. You mentioned that if you set up over a known point with the RS2 it would help in post. When and where do you factor in the known coordinates? I'm not seeing anywhere in the Rock Desktop to manually input coordinates. 🤔

    • @danieljwindham
      @danieljwindham 11 месяцев назад +2

      To be honest, fly as low as you can. But practically anywhere from 40-50m is good.

    • @IndianaDrones
      @IndianaDrones  11 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah, 50m AGL is my general go to. But if it’s a small site, I will first reduce my AGL - then if I still have some room on my battery set (flight time isn’t that long) then I’ll increase the overlap.

    HEY DO YOU HAVE VIDEOS ON THE EMILD FLOW? LIKE HOW IT ACTUALLY WORKS. I PUT IT TO TEST AGAINST A TRIMBLE R12 AND MY NUMBERS BACK WERE PRETTY TERRIBLE. I WAS DIALED INTO THE FPRN SO I DONT KNOW WHY I WAS GETTING A DIFFERENCE OF LIKE 3 TENTHS. MAYBE USER ERROR. IDK. BUT IM SUPER CURIOUS TO SEE AS TO WHY MINE GAVE SUCH TERRIBLE VALUES.

    Hi, I'd really appreciate it if you could create a video about the maximum capabilities of the drone LiDAR combo. I'm particularly interested in understanding the highest altitude and minimum overlap required for obtaining quality data on one battery set. Additionally, if it's possible to share the dataset derived from this exploration, I would find that extremely valuable. I'd love to see how the combo performs in an environment with mixed vegetation, buildings, maybe power lines and roads. This would provide a great insight into its practical utility and limitations. Thanks in advance and have a nice day

    How feasible is it to do piloting and LiDAR processioning as your own business, without being a licensed surveyor? Is there any market for licensed surveyors to get this point cloud data from someone who is not a surveyor?

    Just one other thought for everyone nee to this. During your base set up make sure to put the correct height of your antenna. 2Meter on the provided pole but could vary if you put it on a regular tripod and tribrach assembly.

    Question to Harrison and drone pilots: What was your highest and lowest flight altitude, and how did it end? I flew as low as 20 meters in a valley and had to pick up my DJI M2P like fruit from the trees :) Due to the terrain, I once had to fly over 100 meters, and the resolution was practically worse than Google Earth.
