Im so happy you mentioned the plug to pull out of the water chamber. It wasn’t mentioned at all in our set up guide and I had no idea it was there. Once we pulled it out we were able to do the hot water flush and then use our new machine. Thank you so much for your thorough walk-through!
Anyone having an issue with the pressure gauge not moving at all? Seems to not build proper pressure to get the crema. This was a gift and I have no way to return it and I'm willing to fix it myself if need be.
The gauge is not moving at all, not even a little? If that is the case it could be a warranty issue. More likely It could be due to the coffee not being ground fine enough to offer any resistance to the water being pushed through.
When i lock in grinder hopper and turn it clockwise it clicks for 6 clicks and stops. I want to continue to 15 but it seems to hard to continue turning. I don't want to cause any damage. Do i continue turning clockwise in order to get to 15? I don't want to strip anything. Any advice out there thank you
Hello, my boyfriend got me this espresso machine. The descale light started to blink. Try to do the descale process but is not working as it says in the instructions. Could you help me ?
Since the machine is brand, new, I would immediately contact the company for technical assistance. It’s possible the machine could be defective, and it could be repaired and or replaced.
in my experience this is a decent espresso machine. There are many choices out there however and you have to do your own due diligence. There is often promotional pricing for this model so keep your eyes open but I do believe it works well taking into consideration what else is out there. I’ll also say that I do not ever give something that’s a piece of crap a good review. If this were to have been deficient in some area I would definitely have mentioned it.
Remove any beans that might be in the grinder. You should see a wire handle folded flush with the top of the removable burr. the bean hopper has a downward pointing arrow indicator on the back of it. Line that arrow with the ridge at the front of the machine and simply drop the hopper down and then twist it clockwise. This should all be in the manual.
@@michaelerbreviews thanks 1. No beans. Brand New 2. Grinder already installed. Came that way. However due to the struggle, we removed and placed it back in and locked it clockwise. Flattened the handle 3. Aligned hopper with the pointed part on the back 4. Called 2 people who also struggled and couldn't get it I'm going to try your suggestion with where that downward pointing arrow is and see if that does the trick Also- We read the manual 3 people in total, but we might be the 3 stooges at this point 👀
Hello Great video Although I also been having issues with my descale indicator non stop blinking, I checked the manual, when I still had it, if I recall correctly it said to place containers under both the steam wand and the group head then with the reservoir full of water hold the ON/OFF button and single espresso button to start the descale cycle, but other than beeping and blinking nothing happens Please help, Thank you in advance
I believe that you must press the espresso button one more time to begin the process after you have simultaneously pressed the two other buttons. If that isn't it, then it's possible you need to turn the steam/hotwater knob to steam to begin the process then to hot water when the machine pauses and it's time to rinse and refill water reservoir with clean water. I don't have the machine in front of me right now and this is from memory so I may have the process confused with other espresso machines I've tested.
@@michaelerbreviews Thanks a lot Micheal What ended up working for me was to Press and Hold the ON/OFF button and the Double Shot button for a few seconds until the two espresso button light turned off, letting me know it’s ready to go, the only thing that was left to do was turn the Knob to Steam and the Clean/Descaling began As you said at some point the machine is on hold and you need to turn the knob to Hot Water for it to rinse it off Thanks again Michael Hope that comment helps someone else in need

Simplest way is to put about 2 cups of white vinegar and 2 cups of water into the water reservoir and run the machine through several operations of making double shots and also run the steam wand in the hot water position. Pause a minute or so between each step to allow the vinegar time to dissolve any scale buildup. Then refill the water reservoir with clean water and do the same thing to flush out the vinegar.

@@albertalbanese217 are you turning it while the grinder is actually grinding? If not, the beans are probably jamming up your ability to turn it.

Milk always first because your espresso shot has died sitting waiting for your to finish steaming milk. Shot die in 15-30 sec after they are pulled
