@@SouthCoastDronesUK My pleasure
Of course it’s about the POW warship but I love looking at the tug boats pulling that most powerful of ships
It’s amazing the power they have to pull
❤️❤️🏴🏴
Thank you I to find that very impressive 🙂
They dont actually pull her into harbour, she is under her own power until she gets to the berth. They are there to assist and as a safety net in case anything happens. They are very powerful tugs, I believe two of them were purposely built to look after these ships in harbour.
Love these 'overwater' shots you do. Stunning.
Well done. Top job !!!!!!!
Thank you so much 🙂
Fantastic flying. Well captured. Thankyou for sharing with us.
Cheers mickeymoo 🙂

Cheers Mike 🙂
One of the pair of Great white Elephants.
Brilliant 👏
Cheers Jessie 🙂
Wonder what Nelson would make of Prince of Wales... 👋👋👋
Cheers skeet they would be in shock 😂
Australia navy would buy this carrier of the British.
😂😂😂
Where are the aircraft?
They rarely come back into port with aircraft on display 😔
The aircraft normally disembark back to Marham while the ship is at sea for safety reasons. Even the Destroyers and Frigates do the same.
Did they strike her air group below or bingo them to the beach?
They rarely have aircraft onboard when in harbour, maybe some rotary but the F35s disembark back to Marham before she comes back in.
@@neilsbs8273 It’s sarcasm. As a former carrier sailor I know when a carrier is functional. No deck equipment evidenced to handle any kind of aerial operations especially the obligatory deck crane is a dead give away
@@tomdolan9761 Top tip, if its a sarcastic comment then its usually marked with a /s at the end 😉😉
@@neilsbs8273 Point taken though I don’t mean to denigrate British military personnel who I’ve always found to be professional and technically proficient. It is however pointless to spend billions on two carriers and not have sufficient numbers of aircraft to equip both completely as well as sufficient numbers ashore to train and supplement the ship born air groups as needed
@@tomdolan9761 The issue is not that it doesnt have enough aircraft, ok maybe that is but that isnt our fault. Because of the popularity of the F35 we are in the supply queue like everyone else so have to wait our turn. There is a sliver lining to that though. If we got all 75 straight away we would not be going through the upgrade process which would have taken them offline for who knows how long. At least getting them in stages gives us the latest aircraft straight away and we only have to upgrade the few we got intially. Another advantage a lot of my countrymen seem to forget is that being tier one partners in the F35B programme 15% of each aircraft is British so thats money coming back into our economy.
why the two bridges >
The forward island is for ship control functions and the aft (FLYCO) island is for flying control.
@@SouthCoastDronesUK They are also interchangable in case of battle damage.
