Frank has just moved into the Lopez residence on a 1-year lease, but he had no idea the culture shock he was about to experience by being in a Mexican household. In this new series, Frank is going to encounter various things that many Mexicans grow up experiencing such as vaporub, mexican life hacks, chanclas, paletas, elotes, and more.

My mom is white my dad is Hispanic. He stopped storing things in the oven when my mom kept melting his pot handles and lid handles when she would preheat the oven. 😂

ALSO . THE BLUE DANISH COOKIE TIN USED FOR SEWING SUPPLIES . AND BUTTER CONTAINERS FOR BIG POT RECIPES (soup , chili, salsa . Etc ) or leftover dinner . That is also an European English / Irish / Scottish thing too . Every Empty cookie tin makes for a good container for everything . I’m from a province in Canada that still has strong UK Practices . The island Newfoundland . Home to the oldest settlement in Canada . Yet is the youngest Canadian province .

Funny story: So my cousin went to new York for college. My grandma is Mexican, so she keeps pots and pans in the oven. My cousin really likes oven food. He preheated the oven while the pans were in there. First time, it happened there was a bunch of smoke.😂😂
All three examples can be found in our household except we have pencils and crayons in the Danish cookie tin! Love this one.
