- With a laser cutter, the possibilities for cutting and engraving artwork are endless. Here's how I used my shop laser to cut images that I then colored and assembled for a commissioned painting!

Very inspiring. I am just getting started laser cutting paper with surrealist and cyberpunk themes, and it's really fun and I am selling a few, but this is a whole other level.
Silhouetted paper laser cuts can be amazing. It's one of the things that I'd like to try eventually... just had to do this full color painting first!
Imagine filling that with clear resin it would look amazing
Beautiful artwork ❤
Great job! Brilliant idea. Explanations were good enough that I feel comfortable trying it.
Great, glad it helped show the idea!
This is awesome! Great job mixing so many skills and tools!
Thanks a lot!
Dooooood. This looks amaze, love watching the coloring process, so very cool and lovely work
Thanks a lot! Them markers are magical for timelapse coloring!!
Love the art work! seriously more in love with your workshop tho - total tool goals!
Thank you! While some of the tools I use here are mine, this video was shot in Myers Woodshop, my bro-in-law's place. I'm there a lot.
"they have excellent taste" Lol, they sure do!
Thank you for sharing how you do this. Very nice work!
Thanks for watching!

First time I came across your video and loved the artwork. Looking forward to seeing your new creations. Subbed.
Thanks for the sub!
Best editing ever
Heh, thanks, I try!!
That’s so cool. Gives me ideas to use on my new laser I’m waiting for. Very creative.
Awesome, what laser are you waiting on??
@@FierySquirrelArt I had an Ortur Laser Master 3 that I had not even taken out of the box yet and it was stolen by a casual employee. I have ordered a Laser Pecker m I can’t remember the number on it but it is their newest model that begins shipping in July. I have all the accessories for the Ortur still in boxes, just nothing to hook them to. I am optimistic that I will need a second one if I get busy enough so I will replace it when I need a second one. I was hooked on the Laser Pecker when it folded open, push start and it started. I hope it gets here soon.
@@FierySquirrelArt I had purchased an Ortur Laser Master 3 but it was stolen before I could set it up. I ordered the LaserPecker LX1 Max that hopefully will ship sometime in July, no ETA yet. I loved that there was no setup to do,just unfold it and press start. Then I was looking at all the accessories I had purchased for the Ortur that couldn’t be used on the LaserPecker and felt silly for changing so I repurchased the Ortur that should be here July 11. I hope I will get busy enough to justify having 2 machines.
Well that sucks that one got lifted… I have some experience with Orturs and they have worked just fine. Good luck with the Pecker, a plug-and-play laser sounds awesome!!
I like this !
Thanks😄
GREAT WORK MAN ❤️
Thanks for watching the process!!
@@FierySquirrelArt never missed a second, expecting more videos with this same idea.
Okay, ... I was actually expecting something different from the instagram post. lol ... I was half expecting you put a canvas down in the laser cutter, and focused the laser a little above the canvas, so it didn't really cut the canvas, and then just sliced through all the tubes of paint and let it go wherever it went, ... a la some sort of "modern art". 🤣 That being said --- the final result looks fantastic. The marker work reminds me of the concept art the Star Trek art departments used to do back in the TNG and DS9 days (in technique anyway, not the colors).
My work being compared to TNG/DS9 concept art is praise of the highest order... Thank you. And now you've given me ideas of actually lasering paint tubes and making a mess... Thank you again. Peace and long life🖖
This video indeed deserve much more views. The concept is great. I imagine this with additional layers on top to give a more trimensional look but as it is now, its a beauty. I am wondering what color pencils are those that you can use then on this piece of plywood. Keep up the good work.
I used Prismacolor markers on a sanded smooth primered surface. These markers are alcohol-based and blend together very well. There are other brands besides Prismacolor to choose from which are less expensive, as long as they are alcohol-based markers the results should be similar!
Nice work
Thanks!
Thats an Amazing Work, Whats the name of the app that you use in the firts process ??
I used the Procreate app on iPad to trace the linework at the beginning. Very good app for drawing on iPad, and very inexpensive!
Good job 🫡
Thanks!
This is nuts! What's the movie again?
Thanks! It's Howl's Moving Castle, early 2000's I think.
Hey Mr Hickey!!
