i’ll never forget hearing SZA’s verse for the first time in the theatres after watching this beautiful movie, while the lights were turning on and ppl started leaving. i felt soo powerful and just everything was right it was truly an experience
They rereleased this in theaters after he died and I made sure to watch the ENTIRE end credits in the theater, my husband wanted to leave but I said fuck that we're staying. I even liked it before the credits where the kid asks "who are you" and he just smiles. Magic
@@ismailkessentini1504 I honestly am still at a lose for words I didn't even know he was sick I'm still deeply saddened by this all he will always be the king wakanda forever
Gone too soon. He was an incredible talent in all he did. And of course was the protagonist in one of my favorite Marvel movies that has been made. A Legend need not speak. When he is gone, the world will speak for him. A message to the King: Wakanda Forever!
i love how marvel puts in the effort in the ending credits because they know that most people will stay for the end scene, and instead of just watching a bunch of words on the screen they create these stunning visuals paired with an amazing song for us ❤
Every time I listen to this, I feel a sense of hope for the future mixed with pain from the past and present. Just a beautifully moving song and an incredibly beautiful and moving movie.
I'm happy that my family got to see this in the theaters, and I'm happy I got to see Chadwick bring the Black Panther to life on the big screen. Rest in Power, Chadwick Boseman.
When I watched the movie I replayed the credits like I was crazy. Something about it seemed powerful. It hits differently now....seeing Chad fade in the sand. 💜🙅🏾♀️🙅🏾♀️🙅🏾♀️ WakandaForever. RIP King
The same like bruh I’m in Los Angeles and I would hear this song non stop and I will just think of the grove and that song fits perfectly for that outdoor mall and every time I think about this song I always think about the grove
This song takes me back to 2018 every time life was good but life is better now and they really should’ve added the movie version to the album I would’ve streamed this more than the other
African People suffered 400 years of slavery, add a 100 years for discrimination and segregation, plus modern police brutality and ongoing racism. From all the differing pains of racism, prejudice, the fact we got an icon of the highest calibre. A Black Superhero. If only the slaves and all those who faced mistreatment for the colour of their skin could see the 21st century, just to witness Chadwick take on a legendary hero role. To be hopeful for at least an hour to know that the future gets better. But they are all dead. If the people(I'd say heroes but they were just normal good people) like Rosa Parks, Mama Till, Harriet Tubman, MLK, Malcolm X, Hattie McDaniel, Mandela, Muhammad Ali, anyone who faced the backhand of racism could have witnessed this story... I think they would've been proud. 1:22. That part I like to think is Chadwick turning to dust to join his ancestors, he was the person that made black kids proud. In my own life I see Chadwick as my hero. Rest in the Stars, my friend.
After Chadwick Boseman died I was surprise and sad when I heard about and I didn’t watch Black Panther for 2 years when that happened and I decided to watch it again when the second came out I didn’t get a chance to meet Chadwick Boseman but I wish I did and I believe in Jesus and Chadwick Boseman is up there with him R.I.P. Black Panther
I remember these end credits coming on after seeing the movie in theaters. Damn, that was four years ago. I was about 10-years-old! Hurts to think about the movie now. We miss you, Boseman.
This is the best end credits ever made, it made me emotional then and now after Chadwicks passing... I just can't. I don't think anyone could have foreseen how bad 2020 actually would be.
As soon as I heard the news, I literally fainted. At that point I was so done with 2020. On top of that my uncle died less than 2 months later. Honestly thanking God for bringing me this far mate, 2020 was a nightmare🙏

This was my first real exposure to SZA and it was great. Just the memories of the craziness of just seeing this movie- all the shows were literally sold out and finally seeing it and finishing with this credit sequence was really a experience. Might be the best ending credits of all time
