Btw. It's easier to first push the cartridge connector further into the top tube, you can then easily remove the battery connector and then fully slide the socket out. For placing it back in you first push the cartridge connector further in than needed and then you can drop in the battery connector very easily. I also do it through the front light tube instead, just have to rotate the cartridge connector 90 deg. That said through the head tube also works fine, whatever you prefer. But using this technique I can have a socket out and in within like 10 sec
Actually the sockets were fine. The certified workshop here in Berlin diagnosed a faulty wiring due to Err 48. After replacing the sockets Err 48 persisted and finally a bent pin at the cartridge originated as cause of the error message. However, I wanted to videolog the process for people that cannot reach a certified workshop
Hi, thank you for the videos you are uploading. Very helpful! My S3 just started to loose communication with basically every function in the bike (No error but has power), when I turn the handlebar to the left.. Comes back intermittent when i turn it to the right (it is becoming worse..)... I think this labor you are showing here is whats waiting me... Approximately how much time and how many curse words did this take you to complete??
It depends whether you have the right tools. With the videos you should be able to get through the whole process in 6 hrs. I only had a manual from the net that did not cover every obstacle. Worst part is to get the plastic lid inside the frame back into place covering cables and brake line ( I gave up) and putting the front fork back. Yet you can do it. Bike still running smoothly yet with automated 2 gear hub.
@@MobileTanzschuleBerlin OK so I successfully managed to do the socket replacement. Bike back to normal,, Divided the labor into two days and I never want to do it again! A huge thanks to you as this video was my guidance through the whole process. And I did also gave up on the black plastic lid. The brake cable was in the way for me too couldn't get it 100% straight with no overlapping. Anyways, again, a BIG thank you for this video!!
@@MobileTanzschuleBerlin --- Sehr geehrter Herr, vielen Dank.
Thank you for making this 🙏
My pleasure!
