- How fast we can Black Border Flooded Valley on in BTD6! This NEW account started from level 1 on Monkey Meadow and we are now on our 47th Black Border in Bloons TD 6! We have to beat every BTD6 game mode including Half Cash, Impoppable, Apopalypse and Flooded Valley CHIMPS in order to get a Flooded Valley Black Border. I encourage you to use this as a guide to help you complete Flooded Valley and get the Black Border in Bloons TD 6!

LOL Cubism is one of my favorites for sure and also one of my 2nd favorites
For me my favorite is luminous cove because I like the underwater feel and my lest favorite is underground just because I had a very hard time beating the harder game modes (your chimps tutorial is how i turned it from a gold border to a black border)
I ADORE GLUE GUNNER !!!!
Corrosive glue hose + 4-2-0 village slows so many rounds down to a bearable pace, makes 63 a cakewalk for whatever tower is my main kinda damage dealer
My favorite map is actually a tie between spice islands (because the sub and buccaneer are my all time favorite towers) and monkey meadows (because it just reminds me of the earliest days of balloon tower defense and its evolution it went through)
Now on the other side of that coin my 2 most hated maps are sanctuary and gears (i hate them both for the same reason. That reason is that the playable area moves which really throws off how i have my defense set up like i know its a creative concept but still trying to beat those for me is a huge huge huge struggle for me)
I can definitely agree with your Monkey Meadow reasoning for sure. placing a 402 in that one spot bewteen the two islands near the middle of spice islands is super satisfying!
totally agree with the geared being one of the worst lol.
Free glue: YES
sometimes it comes in handy in very select situatoins, such as when darts are banned in oddyessys and/or daily challenges. And if I'm doing double HP MOABs and I'm getting a MOAB glue. And yeah on Impoppable on this map I'll use the free glue in the 90's on an ice platform to get a glue storm to quicken things up as you have tons of cash from farming on that.
i've used the free glue on a few maps where it was more important to slow down one track so the hero didn't get overwhelmed. And Sauda loves a glue gunner near by
Favorite map is probably Ouch since imo it's the most challenging map where losing doesn't feel unfair
Least favorite would be X Factor because that middle obstacle is the most annoying thing to work around (minus Workshop's tables) and it manages to be terrible without blocking line of sight.
Dishonorable mention for Glacial Trail but at least it's only one lane
I swear this map is the king of making me lose my Black border, only for me to retry the round doing nothing different and then passing.
Man after over just a year btd6 has changed so much🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Edit: favorite map, definitely Moon landing or Balance, huge fan of how satisfying mortar paired with buffed up dragons breath feels together on both maps. Least fav Glacial or Bloody puddles. Both feel upsettingly hard to play without going into with a very specific strat.🎉🎉🎉
Edit2: love the free glue, top path pairs well with most anything as it pops everything but camo and most the time people end up building a middle path village or bottom path wizard. Top path ice, middle path ninja spam , bottom path mortar for double dps and benefit of slowing the bloons.
The only Heroes that I think can do stuff on this map are Obyn, PSI, Adora and Ezili cus they can see over walls, Brickell and Pat because they are water, and I guess Gerry items and Ben
I tried many runs with Pat on this map but he would randomly decide when he would use his push back on the moabs so I could never keep the run consistent. Favorite for this map is Ben of course cause money but no good for CHIMPS
Alternative bloon rounds on this is worse than giving birth
Free glue: Because glue gunner is more expensive than dart monkey, if you're planning on starting with both, it's cheaper to use free glue and pay for dart. I know I used it on Dark Dungeon and some others.
Least favorite map: Maybe one of the boring intermediate maps. Somewhere in the middle of the map list is a slog of boring maps that are too easy and don't have any fun mechanics. I think Rake is my least favorite overall, mainly because there's something wonky with targeting (not sure exactly) that makes it unnecessarily hard. Like, bloons just fly right by setups that crush them in other maps that are supposed to be harder. I think the AI has trouble figuring out which lane to attack on First. Just a guess. Whatever the problem, it's an obnoxious map.
Favorite map: Castle Revenge is pretty wild. Dark Dungeon is a pain in the ass, but clever. Geared is super interesting. I think my favorite map overall is actually Firing Range. The first time I ran it, I had no idea you could fit certain towers on the little benches in the front. Once I figured that out, the map got easy, but it's still a fun concept with a great look to it.
Fave by far is high finance, loved the black border!! least fave is erosion, it should be expert and I stand by that

i have chosen and often do choose the free glue over the free dart lol, i dont often use darts but i do like to use the top path glue on apopalypse and alternate and bottom path on impoppable, an unpopular choice i know
so do you drop the glue right away or do you wait until he would be more useful? Cause that is crazy to let those free early pops go with the dart! lol

I almost always take free glue gunner ngl. I know it's worse for popping power and like chimps mode so I don't do it sometimes. For my reasoning though I just love Sauda as a hero and the slow and damage over time from corrosive is really nice, plus it's a get out of jail free card for leads since Sauda can't pop them without abilities early
I actually really like Flooded Valley, but mainly because it was the first expert map I figured out myself, no guides used
It was really satisfying to see hours worth of testing coming together, and the last few rounds were very tense (and yes, I have died on 98-99 multiple times before I got my black boarder)
Favorite map right now (haven't played all of them) is probably Underground, since it was surprisingly difficult after thinking it was an easy map. Still go back to it periodically since it's a good map to test out blob strategy without it being too easy.
Least favorite so far is Workshop. It's like Cargo, but with a much shorter track and sped up Bloons, so you have to be pixel perfect in the first 20 rounds. Due to the short track, some rounds feel random, and you can just die at any second. Since space is very limited, I find that you can only make some very specific, broken strategy work on that map and can't really do much deviation (or you can, and I'm just still learning). But I cleared that map when I was still pretty green and didn't know what rounds are problematic and how to prepare, so it led to a lot of resets. I might think about it differently now.
Glue gunner OP. Fun Fact: the bottom path X-X-5 makes other glues paths more effective. It’s a good strat not many people are aware of.
I can't think of a definitive favourite or least favourite as there's quite a few maps enjoy and some i really don't lol! So instead i'll say the map i like the most and hate the most from each difficulty!
Beginner:
Favourite - End Of The Road (Really enjoy the aesthetics and openness!)
Least Favourite - One Two Tree (Not a big fan of the mechanics of the map, it's confusing and overwhelms me!)
Intermediate:
Favourite - Moon Landing (Fun to experiment with towers such as mortar and spike factory. And enjoy the aesthetics!)
Least Favourite - Bloonarious Prime (Everything about it lmao)
Advanced:
Favourite - Cornfield (Pretty aesthetics, as well as a cool idea! Plus you can choose to make the map more difficult!)
Least Favourite - Geared (I don't think this needs an explanation)
Expert:
Favourite - Infernal (Super cool looking! Plus not too difficult for an expert map!)
Least Favourite - Dark Dungeons (Genuinely just can't stand it lmao. I find the start too difficult and it's very intimidating lol)

I remember just black boardering this map a month ago, had to cheese it with the new Pirate lord buff and the Flagship carrying a Bloon Solver paired with Lord of the Abyss and Final Harmonic. If it wasn't for the Mermonkey update and the Pirate Lord buff, I have NO idea how was i supposed to beat this map.
My favorite is Balanced because its deceptively easy and fun to find new ways to beat it
My least favorite is Geared because of the short track and the moving parts.
I just beat primary only with obyn at the top , a boomerang and a crossbow. very satisfying.

Favorite maps: Logs (I like doing challenges on that map), Moon landing (idk why but I love it), cornfield (I beat the whole black border without removing corn)
Least favorite: Geared (I can’t beat it) glacial trail (it hurts my brain)
Least favorite: Muddy puddles
Favorite: Flooded valley, except primary only, which is really hard without powers. (I use admiral brickell)

least favorite is definitely bloody puddles, only expert map i haven’t black bordered and it genuinely feels impossible, the 1/10 times i get the sub and dart placements at the start right i’ll die to something stupid in the 20s/30s and lose and it’s so frustrating because it feels like there isn’t anything i can do
This is definitely the easiest but most stressful map to black border
My favorite map is probably another brick because it’s so casual and laid back and just fun to play on, it’s a very organic map. I would say my least favorite map is quarry because it’s just so boring and has interactions that have already been done before.

My favourite map is Downstream it’s just so peaceful and it’s kinda like a upgraded version of monkey meadow since it has water but My least favourite map is water slide its so annoying to me
I don't really have a favorite map cause I like most of them and I don't necessarily dislike the hard maps cause I like the challenge. Though I really hate One Two Trees because of its mechanics

I use the free glue only in the case of using sauda
least favorite are workshop and/or X-Factor. those maps just feel "unfair" the speed up on workshop and all the line of sight blockers are just cheep. X-factor is so deceptively hard with tower reach. Lost so many chimps on that one.
Favorite? idk I think 4-circles? hard to say.
