open source is not simple as you describe here we have choices even your Microsoft higher developers to work on Linux kernel even your Facebook developers or Google developers are working on Linux kernel and here we have companies like redhat suse and we have multiple licences like MIT bsd GPL lgpl every project have their quality control over code like Linux kernel go send a bad commit to Linux kernel recently we have a security wornablty here under 2 days we have fix for that open source deserve a podcast not a single video
For people, a simple explanation is more than enough who don't know anything about open source, podcast is not something the normal audience wants, and is largely unnecessary in my opinion, and since the channel not entirely about opensource, going deep into stuff like licenses is pointless since there are dedicated channels

You need to enable USB debugging which allows you to access your android device through your PC which means anybody can access you mobile through the USB, scrcpy while you use it may not prove to be any dangerous, the function that it uses, that is USB debugging is not that safe if you're extremely concerned about the stuff you have in your device
