From someone that believed EDG is gonna win it all since the 8-0 spring split start im so happy EDG and especially JieJie proved everyone wrong..It melts my heart to know that Meiko finally won worlds and is now only one of the few players to win both MSI and Worlds..He deserves it as he was the most loyal player..He could have gone to any super team when EDG were in their lowest but he stayed and believed in the org.

Actually, it was more about Jiejie being the best with champions with initiation and engage. While the Lee Sin was a good counter to his Xin Zhao, the whole comp of DK in that one could deny EDG's engages, many times Sylas used effectively Xin's ulti to separate EDG players, Braum could deny the poke of Jayce and protect rooted players by Jhin's passive, EDG was winning the 3rd one, until teamfights happened.

I’m not happy that DK lost this series, because I really like Showmaker but I’m ecstatic that EDG won and proved everyone wrong. They had anything but an easy path to the championship but I’m happy they went the distance
@Connor Not only did they win, they won with such tenacity and never giving up. Many times i felt DK had them with some crisp team fighting, wonderful macro plays and a couple of clutch barons and drakes but EDG did not wilt and disappear, they kept fighting and trying. The 2nd game of the series is a true picture of the skill level between DK and EDG when DK literally destroyed EDG. From 3rd game onwards, EDG showed their real strength, the desire to give it their all and never giving up. It was this tenacity that won them the game and caused DK to choke. Great game and a very inspirational win for everyone out there. Doesnt matter how good your opponents are, as long as you dont give up, keep fighting and hold your head high, you can win against the odds.

You aren’t allowed to use champions in consecutive games on either side. So the 10 champions you use the first game can’t be used in the next game.
