This cemetery is closed to the public, but fortunately, we were allowed access. We waited for almost 2 hours and it was worth it. #cemetery #history #brussels

I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for taking me with you to a beautiful cemetary. If it weren't for you I would never have the opportunity to see these beautiful places that you go to. I am 75 years old and I live in the western U.S. in Washington State and I don't have the money to travel so I really appreciate what you do. Thank you so much and God Bless.

You are very brave, Sue! I don't know if I would have gone down in that vault, but I'm glad you did so that we could see it. I love those old cemeteries and the old photos. I love to see the fashions on both men and women. I have pictures of both my great grandparents of the 1880/90s. They are very somber looking, but it still gives you a glimpse of who they were. Thank you for taking us along!
Wow! Another magical mystery tour of a forbidden cemetery. That underground crypt looked pretty good. Some debris around but not like the one GV found with 800 bodies. I love all the green, but I know what it is like when it is wet and clammy. Ewww. What a remarkable place. I could continue on in there forever. Thank you Sue. ♥️☘️

I really get what you mean about the beauty of nature reclaiming the cemetery. But…the other cemeteries you’ve shown from your Belgium trip (above ground, anyway) are immaculate. I hope they can restore this one before it is too far gone.
The shutter speeds on cameras in the 19th and early 20th century were different than modern film cameras of our time. Wonderfully beautiful graves you shared, may all folks rest in peace there.
Loved seeing all those dates down in the crypt Sue. Looked like you had the zoomies in this one, lol!😂And I'm guessing you left your welly boots back home...Thanks for another enchanting exploration. Take care, Deb of Oz XXX

The amount of money to put into the gravestones has to be incredible. It is beautiful the way it is, but it would be nice to see the graves cleaned too.
Even in the decay it’s in it’s a beautiful cemetery. The kids 1s are the hardest because you can imagine the parents standing there.Breaking their hearts. So sad.Thankyou Sue ❤
im very glad to discover you and mr visitations; people who share my morbid tastes; ive been fascinated by cemetaries death vampires ghouls etc since i was 4 and saw the old universal horror pictures with all the graveyards and we have some famous fantastical grave yards here in nyc; but i enjoy your channels; its better than some unacceptable sex urge ( which thank g-d i dont have strange though i am lol ); but pt is we share this strange fascination
@@SerenitySueGraveyards My boyhood home was on the edge of a forest. It was always interesting to wander there and see the different forms of life, even the beetles and grubs living within an old rotting stump.
This place made me think back to those scenes in the 1960 "The Time Machine," where the time traveller goes far into the future and finds the overgrown ruins of buildings from centuries gone by.

I just love your cemetery tours, you find the most beautiful places and you're so respectful ❤
Thanks Dee
What a beautiful cemetery that is. Lots of damage has happened, hopefully it will get fixed. I used to love to walk around them but used to stop and cry over little. Ones. My late partner stopped taking me. Thanks for share. Please take care
Thanks Linda ❤️
Thank you for all you do! This was very interesting.❤
You are so welcome
Sue, it is an extraordinary cemetery later it has been abandoned..the underground crypts you have shown just an un imaginable and always be in dark and one of them opened without remains..really a different experience to see such crypts not being exposed to outer world..thank you Sue, you've done a great job..expect more from you..
Thanks Ginsirpy ❤️
Thankyou for the tour another awesome video ❤🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thank you ❤️
Sue, one of the things that keeps me coming back to your videos, is your sense of compassion and respect for the deceased, which comes through so obviously. Be safe in your travels….😔
Thank you so much. Sometimes it makes me feel overwhelmed with sadness, but I love what I do
Congratulations Sue and GV
Another amazing video 👍
Cemetery looks so peaceful with all the trees 🌲
Now that it is abandoned
Nature will for sure take over
Thanks so much
Amazing! You said, "It's kinda creepy down here. " 😮😮 Ya think !? Oh my goodness. ❤❤❤❤
It was a little and I wasn't sure what I'd find
@@SerenitySueGraveyards So scary. Wow ! Thanks ❤️
The amount of money to put into the gravestones has to be incredible. It is beautiful the way it is, but it would be nice to see the graves cleaned too.
That's their plan, a full clean up and then it will be reopened
Even in the decay it’s in it’s a beautiful cemetery. The kids 1s are the hardest because you can imagine the parents standing there.Breaking their hearts. So sad.Thankyou Sue ❤
Thanks Mary, part 2 is up now
Just a stunning place!!! All the green overgrown, just how i love it. :)
Me too, it's absolutely beautiful and certainly felt enchanted too

im very glad to discover you and mr visitations; people who share my morbid tastes; ive been fascinated by cemetaries death vampires ghouls etc since i was 4 and saw the old universal horror pictures with all the graveyards and we have some famous fantastical grave yards here in nyc; but i enjoy your channels; its better than some unacceptable sex urge ( which thank g-d i dont have strange though i am lol ); but pt is we share this strange fascination
Thanks
Those beautiful plant-moved tablets! I like this place more than the mostly "astro-turf-like" cemeteries around here!
It is very enchanting
@@SerenitySueGraveyards My boyhood home was on the edge of a forest. It was always interesting to wander there and see the different forms of life, even the beetles and grubs living within an old rotting stump.
Love your spirit! Brave Woman!
Thank you ❤️
The green is so beautiful❤
Loved it
Beautiful cemetery love watching your videos
Thanks so much
So old and beautiful if you passed up the chance you would have missed that awesome crypt And you would have kept thinking about it lol
Exactly, I'd regret it forever
I just love cemeteries. I saw one in Pennsylvania for sale , 24 acres for one million .
Wow, that's a lot
Thanks Sue!
You are so welcome!
This place made me think back to those scenes in the 1960 "The Time Machine," where the time traveller goes far into the future and finds the overgrown ruins of buildings from centuries gone by.
It does
Spooky but beautiful! Thanks Sue.
You are so welcome!
